Course Curriculum Overview
The industrial training made a great turn in choosing my department. As I liked cooking I wanted to specialise in food production department and increase my skills for it. Exams are easy to pass but difficult to score high
Internships Opportunities
I completed my internship at Grand Hyatt Goa. There I learnt more about this industry and my department. There I got a clear knowledge about the department which Im going to specialise in. After the 4 month inturnship we have to submit the log book and project to the college for valuation.
Placement Experience
Placements are held in the 3rd year of the course. The companys which will visit include ihcl , Taj , Hyatt, Leela, oboroi and many others . All the placement are in India . After getting experience from here , we can move to other places . All the students would get placed . The more knowledge the student has better the placement they would get.
Fees and Financial Aid
The yearly fees include 2 semister fees with totally includes 114000 without hostel fees which will be 60000. Tution fees includes 94000 per year and caution fees include 18000. Admission fees is 2000. If the student is from sc or st there is no fees to be paid and hostel fees would be half that is 30000 per year
Campus Life
Campus Life is not so good, no enough celebrations but it has like onam festival, catabreak, sports day, freshers party which is celebrated excellently. The technology provided is very good, smart classes in every room, production facilities, housekeeping facilities, food and beverage service facilities and front office facilities are at 5 star hotel level.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities are excellent, with the latest building facilities. Meals are average but excellent compared to other pgs and hostels. Registration can be done during admission. Hostel is just 1 min walk from the college, both are situated in the same campus.
Admission
I have also applied in ihm goa and ihm trivandrum but from my home this college sihm Kozhikode is near so I can go home very easily, that's why I chosed this College and the facilities are also very good so I fixed my mind here
Faculty
Facultys are very good . They provide full knowledge to be known for the course. The relationship is also very friendly. The most liked facilities are Arun sir , Priyanka man and athulya mam they are fully committed to tell their knowledge to you .2 semister exams would be conducted each year. Failing of students are rare every one used to pass
Night Life
Nightlife at the hostel is very great . Cafeteria is provided in the college with a big capacity. Library is provided in the college where we can get the knowledge of different departments to specialise in. Hostel is excellent. The locality is very safe to roam around st night it is also situated near the police station, so no worrys .
