Not bad

The curriculum of our academics is most similar to that of MBBS system. First year - Anatomy, physiology, pharmacy Second year- Organon, Materia medica, Pathology, microbiology, Forensic Third year- organon, materia medica, surgery, obstetrics and gynaecology From second year onwards clinical postings are there which includes our hospital posting, 10 days postmartem posting under forensic department, 1 month surgery and obg posting, 1 week general hospital posting. OSCE system is now practiced. The frequency and timings of examinations are proper. But we have 1 and half year duration in final year which creates a lag in conducting examinations and there is a lot to study.

Internship last for 365 days after passing the final year exams. Stipend provided is 22000 per month Internship is divided in 3 hospitals 6 months in our college hospital ANSS homeopathic hospital, 3 months in Government Homeopathic hospital Kurichy and 3 months in National Research institute of Homeopathy, kottayam. I

Year wise fees is 3500. There was a college development fund of 25000 at the time of admission. But it is not collecting now i think which includes lab fees etc which is not mandatory for SC and ST. All categories have same fees when entered through NEET exam.

Experience about campus life is not upto mark when compared to a arts college. College is small only have 5 batches of student during an academic year. Most of the programmes in college is conducted by college union There will be : Union day( around june or july) Onam celebration Christmas celebration Founder's day(Hahnemann day) ( april) Management or institute doesnot take any initiatives for participating in sports or other fests. Students should take the initiative. Clubs are also under college union like Music club Drama club Dance club Clubs for each departments also Infrastructure of the college is actually pathetic its very old college built in 1950s only painting occurs once in 5 or 7 years. That is the only maintanence work happening here. Every classroom contain a projector

College hostel is for girls only Hostel fees is 4500 per month. There are 3-4 people in a room. Rooms are moderate in size no attached bathrooms. There are 4 common bathrooms and 4 toilets in total. Meal quality is not upto mark but not that bad also. I am not in college hostel . I took admission in nearby working womens' hostel by Athurasramam it is far better than college hostel. Each room contain 3 people provided with 3 single beds and 3 table and chair. Rooms are tiled and curtains are provided. Food is more better. Most of all days dinner contain non veg options. Two floors are there each floor have 4 bathrooms and 4 toilets. Some of the rooms are attached but differ in price.

I entered this college via NEET entrance examination so the Admission was based on rank list and allotments. I gave options for MBBS, BDS and then BHMS In bhms list there was two colleges prior to this college 1. Govt homeopathic medical college, kozhikode 2. Dr. Padiyar memorial homeopathic medical college, chottanikkara I got admission in our college on first allotment so i didnt gave any other further thoughts and got my admission here. If i waited for next allotments before comfirming this i would have got admission there based on my rank. Admission process was simple in our college there will be a help desk for admission process. We should submit our SSLC, +2 certificates along with NEET score card and KEAM score card, pay the deposits and select a hostel to stay.

There is nearly 50 faculties including teaching and non teaching staffs. Faculty to student ration is like 1:30. Most of the faculties are very experienced doctors(mostly the HODs). The clinical time with them is actually worth for our future practice.

There is no group discussion or interviews for the admission process. Admission is clearly based on the NEET entrance examination and KEAM rank list. No other exams or interviews are conducted by the instituition itself.

There is actually no nightlife in or around the campus for the girls. College hostel night timing is 6.30pm no one is allowed to go out after that. So after the class at 3.30 pm there is only 3 hours outside for having fun. So our favourite hang out spaces is our hostel itself There is no gyms nearby the college but there is gyms in 2 km distance. College canteen is not there but there are shops nearby which are our cafeterias. There is a lulu mall in 10 kms We can either go to changanassery or kottayam for shopping and just hanging out Locality of college is actually not safe to roam after a 9 pm. The people are not modern enough to accept the changes so starings are common.
