Course Curriculum Overview

Out of 5 i rate 4 brcause its anice course for study but someplace it will improve in technical field this course is not so good thats filled also be rhere in that coarse it will be very helpful for the students

In my collage we have to pay in six month semester basis ,60000rs furat we have to give security money also in our college no sc st reservation are there because i think they are private But sc st they get some scholarship from government i think

Campus Life

All the experience is good in that collage because its a very nice collage study environment and other cultural program are also very good in this collage and teachers are very good they are highly quaLified

Admission

I search through online i get so.e good review in thos collage so i thing its time to admission in this collage their reputation is good in public so i loved this collage i get admission on it its my thought

Faculty

In our collage maximum faculties are there ratio is also a very good i thing for 13 student one teachers is there its a good ratio , i loke all of faculties and non faculties also they are very helpfull

Night Life

Nightlife is good because we.live outside we hang out and also study , current sometimes goes so that sometimes it problem orherwise its anice experience to stay in night in hotsal its a peaceful times to study also

A review of our college

Likes

Teaching stuff of our college is very good and they help us to understand things.
The environment of our college campus is very good
Our college library is very nice and beautiful

Dislikes

Canteen is not too good and small in size
Lift is not working most of the time because of electricity

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose b pharmacy and this is a professional course. This course deals with medicine. After b pharm course a student become a pharmacist and provide medicine to patients.This course also deals with pharmaceutical formulations.

Likes

The overall environment is good enough for concentration .
College have good infrastructure as compared to other colleges in the city.
Faculties are well educated and only experienced teachers are present .

Dislikes

The fees is costly for some of the students.
During summer season the college don’t provide AC .
The machines are sometimes not calibrated for several weeks by the college.

Placement Experience:

The placements are good with decent packages in well known industries like Cipla, Dabur, Emami, Hetero etc. and if the students don't get the job then also they can studies further like Masters and pharmacy to get higher packages. The students can also get a registration number which can be used to open a pharmacy like retail or wholesale.

Assam University is a good University

Likes

The Assam University campus is quite large and has big big buildings for every departments. Buses are there for transportation facility and also these buses helps the students to travel to different areas within the campus.
The Assam University campus is very beautiful in terms of environment and it's pollution free. The campus has many cafeteria where students can have their lunch and snacks. Apart from that the nearby areas are also very good.
The people and faculty members are very helpful and supportive in every ways. They help us in all ways be it regarding studies or any other queries, they always try to help the students by giving them suitable solutions.

Dislikes

The bus timing is very inappropriate as the buses only run between the morning shift and evening shift. There are no bus facility in between these two shifts. So these should be improved for better facilities.
Result of every semester comes very late, so students mainly of final year suffer a lot due to late results which leads to delay in their future admissions and plans to other colleges. So this problem should be solved quickly.
The roads nearby the campus area is in very bad condition and due to which many accidents occurred. So this bad condition of road should be encountered quickly.

Placement Experience:

The placements are okay okay. Not very good companies come to recruit students of final year. Only MBA students get a high package salary in a good company. Other departments don't get these much of placements as compared to MBA.

Placement Experience:

Eligibility in 6 semester, companies like Sun pharma, Ajanta pharma and many more. 20% of them got placed. I will try to get placement but let see after 3 years maybe i can go for higher studies also.

Life in GIPS

Placement Experience:

In the 8th semister, students will eligible for campus placement. Our college will organize campus placement. Where different companies come and if you pass the interview then you will get the job. Companys like sun pharma, Ajanta pharma will come. And they have different requirements. In starting you will get 2.5 lakhs of the package and other offers are there. In GIPS most of the students get the placement. My plan after b pharm is I will study for M pharm in GIPS.

Admission:

After completing my 12th exam and scoring 90% I applied for this college online, they didn't ask me to write the entrance exam as my final score was above 50% and after few days they called me to submit my documents for further process, so overall it was an easy experience.

Remarks:

Well the placement of our college is said to be nice. If you completel the course without any backlogs then you are thought to be eligible for applying for placement. Most of students get the placement through the college placement cell.
