Course Curriculum Overview
As someone who comes from a non-tech background, this course allowed me to go towards my interested field of work and passion , as it does not require tech/math background. They teach you everything from scratch, But what they can still improve is their syllabus which goes kind-of slow. And for frequency of the exams is very good , they give you time to prepare for it..
Fees and Financial Aid
There is a fee of 7700 per semester for BCA in IGNOU without late fee, and additionally you have to pay exam fee which depends upon the subject credits, for example: if a subject is more than 4 credits, you have to pay 400 for that one and others are 300 per subject...
Campus Life
There is no type of festivals here in ignou as it is an open university.. But you are provided with facilities here in classrooms like smart boards, and there are labs for tech students with computers to practice and learn..
Admission
I did give the CUET exam for this course but the reason i chose ignou was that they did not require the math/tech background unlike other universities except some privates (which are very expensive) Admission process was very easy as i just had to apply online through their portal and pay the fee, and the eligibility was just 12th passed from a recognised institution...
Faculty
1. Faculty to student ratio is around 50:1, They are quiete friendly and easy to approach 2. Faculty I like the most was my 1st sem's maths teacher, he was very helpful as i am from a non-math background 3. One faculty i didn't like was my business studies teacher, she had a very arrogant behaviour 4. No. of exams depend upon the course and semester but the average is 5. Students dont fail often as the exams are pretty easy and straight from the course
Night Life
Well.. there is no nightlife here, you just study and go home. But, what i would suggest you about the course is that if you are a person works and pursuing studies along this is the university for you..
