- The girls to boys ratio is good which is about in a class of 100 students you’ll easily find 40 girls.
- The scope in various fields is a good thing. Be it MNCs, Army, sanctuaries, NGOs or clinics n hospitals.
- The faculty is very supportive and friendly which makes the working environment pretty good
Dislikes
- Mess food is not very hood or very healthy
- Lack of clinical cases for practice is a problem
- Lack of machines n instruments for surgery and radiology
Course Curriculum Overview
Exams are held every 3 months which is a pretty good thing. The scope in veterinary is a lot be it in Armed forces. Ngos sanctuaries. MNCs. Or clinics n hospitals or even private practice. You get the satisfaction of helping your patients. Which are animals so even better to help them
Internships Opportunities
Internship is in major polyclinics and hospitals around rajasthan and areas like bengaluru. Hassan. Udaipur. Jaipur. Ajmer. Bikaner. Sikar and more. It is mandatory for one year. You get to practice and learn a lot. Also it sllows you to see around almost all of rajasthan.
Fees and Financial Aid
I'm from general category and I'm paying 6 lakhs per year for the five and a half year degree. Hostel fees is 80000 per year. This excluding all the refistration fess yearly. For students from Rajasthan state the fees is 5 lakhs per year. And same for students who take admission via VCI.
Campus Life
Campus life is pretty good as well. There's farm activities. There's horse riding and various sports to play. Sports week is held twice a year. Annual functions like freshers. And world vererinary day are celeberated in the college. College canteen is pretty good. There are people from all over india. So the crowd is pretry good too. Wifi is available all day. Gym and library facilties and mess facilities are also there. Hostel has all kinds of rooms be it ac. Non ac. Or single and double sharing rooms. Or rooms with balconies etc.
Hostel Facilities
Room has ac water heater balconies attached washrooms. Mess food can be better. But its not that bad either. Hostel fees is 200000 per year for ac rooms n 80000 for mon ac rooms. Which is affordable. Hh
Admission
Admission is done through the NEET qualification and 12th standard scores. I chose the college due to the faculty here and the advancements in practical teaching techniques. I didn't apply anywhere else.
Faculty
Faculty to student ratio is pretty good. There are about 4 teachers per subject which comes to 18 to 20 teachers for 80 students which is a lot. They are very supportive and friend. Dr. B J williams our HOD of surgery and radiology is the best faculty in our college. And is very supportive. Exams are held periodically and difficulty level is medium to tough.
Night Life
Nightlife is okayish. Gym canteen library closes at 9:00 pm. And hostel timings are 10:00 pm and campus timings are 7:00 pm. There are hood cafes around and majorly some hills and temples to see around.
