Course Curriculum Overview

4

Veterinary science have always fascinated me where we treat those who cant speak their pain to us. The course is well structured to inculcate the treatment as well as management aspect of animal husbandry and companion animals. It opens door for various national and international opportunities in Veterinary hospitals, nutrition firms, pharmaceutical giants and diagnostics. The frequency of exams is a bit hectic but regular practice makes it easy

Internships Opportunities

4

College provides 1 year of rotating internship after end of course work in undergraduate degree. Internship is at farms, clinics, milk processing units, feed units, vaccine labs, diagnostic labs, entrepreneurship training etc

Fees and Financial Aid

Rupees 13690 per year for 5 years is the tuition fee of the college. Approx. 4000 rupees in extra need to be paid during first admission. For categories other than general, the fee is rupees 3690 per year only. A scholarship of rupees 3000 is given for ICAR admitted students required they maintain good academic record otherwise it is discontinued.

Campus Life

4

University organises intercollegiate festival called Spocul each year involving Sports and cultural activities. The university library houses a large no of books and documents required for undergraduate and postgraduate studies. All classrooms are equipped with smart board monitors. University have a nice playground for outdoor games and a hall for indoor games. There are two world class Tennis courts near Academic block.

Admission

I got admission through RPVT exam conducted by the university itself while AIPVT students are also admitted from all over India. This college has a brilliant past in terms of preparing great veterinarians and entrepreneurs which led me in choosing this university. Admission is through AIPVT counseling on the basis of NEET UG marks and admission process is supereasy and hassle free.

Faculty

4

There are enough well trained faculties for students which works tirelessly to inculcate the basics of veterinary science in students. Every professor is dedicated towards his duties in terms of providing knowledge and Guidance to undergraduate students. There are 3 internal exams and one final exam at the end of each professional year. The final exams are a bit tough for weak students but regular study can help.

Night Life

4

University campus have a nice gym facility and library is also huge. Hostel is open 24 hours for boys and upto 8pm for girls. Bikaner is famous for its rich heritage having many tourist attractions like rampuria haveli, junagarh fort etc. Night life is average

Exams are held every 3 months which is a pretty good thing. The scope in veterinary is a lot be it in Armed forces. Ngos sanctuaries. MNCs. Or clinics n hospitals or even private practice. You get the satisfaction of helping your patients. Which are animals so even better to help them

Course Curriculum Overview:

Previously veterinary had a semester pattern. Now, it's a yearly pattern with a total of 4 exams each year. 3 internal exams and 1 external exam. Many profs prefer ppts but the best ones give handwritten notes and make you write in class without relying too much on tech.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is good, in the first year itself the students need to indulge with the field practices like feeding restraining and in the physiology subject, blood tests and all make us feel that we are becoming doctors and will treat animals who can't even speak The frequency of exams are every 2 months and they are not that difficult. If a student studies 2 hours daily he can easily ace them

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.Vsc and AH is a five and a half year unndergrad program, in which you will study about the animal, their diagnosis, treatment, nutrition, genetic development and what not. You will study about Ruminants, Dogs, Cats Horses, Birds, Lab Animals as well as Captie wild animals also. You will be facing three internal exams along with externals. They can be tough but the trick is learning, sitting for tests and revision. This program may seem easy but it is more tough and complex than any other medical program, as you will be dealing with multiple animal species at a time.
