Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Course curriculum is good, in the first year itself the students need to indulge with the field practices like feeding restraining and in the physiology subject, blood tests and all make us feel that we are becoming doctors and will treat animals who can't even speak The frequency of exams are every 2 months and they are not that difficult. If a student studies 2 hours daily he can easily ace them

Internships Opportunities

4

Since this is a medical college, the internship program is a rotatory type program. That is the students have to travel in different colleges even out of state every month, a good exposure is provided to the internship students

Fees and Financial Aid

One SJE scholarship is available for categories eligible, for that you need to have good merit and attendance. General category Cannot avail this scholarship, EWS MBC and ST Sc category is eligible for this scholarship.

Campus Life

4

Annual functions and freshers party are the main events that take place in this college. The library is good, silent and filled with all the necessary books, the classrooms are basic rooms with one smart board and it needs improvement. Sports events like CPL and sports week take place every year. The cpl is conducted by the intern batch students while the sports week is conducted by the college.

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostel is old but good, the rooms are nice and big enough. There are two type of rooms three seater and two seater, the sharing rooms are big enough for three and the two seater is enough if you are gonna stay alone. The facilities like electricity wifi and water is available throughout the year. For food mess is available, which is run by caterers who take the tender. The food is okayish not very good, could be improved alot. For those who don't want hostel, they can rent a room or house in the nearby panchayat Vallabhnagar.

Admission

The admissions are NEET based, we have to undergo counselling procedures after that we are allotted the colleges. The marks and preferences are taken in consideration while alloting the college. I wanted a seat in the bikaner campus but since I had a low neet score I had to settle down in the Udaipur campus

Faculty

3.5

In each department atleast 2 Professors are available for the students along with Teaching associates. The faculty for first year is really good, they take care of students during exams. But Heena mam is a terror, she is really strict but she is a good teacher Right now we have yearly exams, in which three mid terms and one final exams take place.

Exams are held every 3 months which is a pretty good thing. The scope in veterinary is a lot be it in Armed forces. Ngos sanctuaries. MNCs. Or clinics n hospitals or even private practice. You get the satisfaction of helping your patients. Which are animals so even better to help them

Course Curriculum Overview:

Previously veterinary had a semester pattern. Now, it's a yearly pattern with a total of 4 exams each year. 3 internal exams and 1 external exam. Many profs prefer ppts but the best ones give handwritten notes and make you write in class without relying too much on tech.

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.Vsc and AH is a five and a half year unndergrad program, in which you will study about the animal, their diagnosis, treatment, nutrition, genetic development and what not. You will study about Ruminants, Dogs, Cats Horses, Birds, Lab Animals as well as Captie wild animals also. You will be facing three internal exams along with externals. They can be tough but the trick is learning, sitting for tests and revision. This program may seem easy but it is more tough and complex than any other medical program, as you will be dealing with multiple animal species at a time.
