The most remarkable thing of our college apart from academics is the college life. Here we share our time with individuals from each part of the country. Here we share a special Bond with faculties and seniors.

Course Curriculum Overview

The total course tallies are of 5 years and each year is divided into two semesters. The course consists of care and management of cattle, and focuses on improvement and standard of dairy farming. The dairy farm visits are nicely organized and available for students anytime.

Placement Experience

We have decent placements cells in our college however the aspirants may opt for off-campus placements too. The college has a proactive placement cell with proper guidance. Faculty from the placement cell train the students during the second last year of their course.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The bachelor's degree in veterinary science is divided into 5 years. The fees for the first year is RS.15,740. While for the remaining four years the fee structure is the same i.e Rs. 13,340/year. The total fees for the course duration is 69,000. The fees include examination fees and registration fees. It is very less expensive when compared to other universities.

A wide range of co-curricular activities are available in our university. Aur University provide equal chances to both male and female students. We have our cultural where we witness various plays. Our university encourages NCC and guides. Each year our University conducts annual festival.

Admission

I applied to RAJUVAS by online form submission. My admission into the University was possible through the entrance examination conducted by the University, Rajasthan Pre-Veterinary Test (RPVT). On the first round selection I saw my name on the merit list. Within a few days of selection, I received my joining letter and according to the mentioned date I appeared in the university in order to carry out my documentations and paper works.

Faculty

The faculty members of my college are very strict but helpful. They are completely dedicated to the enhancement of their students. Our University has highly qualified and knowledgeable teachers. The way our teachers teach is quite impressive and the mode of lecture delivery is by both online and offline methods.

Previously veterinary had a semester pattern. Now, it's a yearly pattern with a total of 4 exams each year. 3 internal exams and 1 external exam. Many profs prefer ppts but the best ones give handwritten notes and make you write in class without relying too much on tech.

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.Vsc and AH is a five and a half year unndergrad program, in which you will study about the animal, their diagnosis, treatment, nutrition, genetic development and what not. You will study about Ruminants, Dogs, Cats Horses, Birds, Lab Animals as well as Captie wild animals also. You will be facing three internal exams along with externals. They can be tough but the trick is learning, sitting for tests and revision. This program may seem easy but it is more tough and complex than any other medical program, as you will be dealing with multiple animal species at a time.

I didnot apply for any other colleges as i was mostly interested in being a veterinary doctor since my 10th and i was prepared for the NEET exam. So my target was to get into a veterinary college. Since i didn't get to any other colleges, i didn't get rejections over there. I got a college according to my NEET allotment. Admission process in the college is through NEET exam and Rajasthan state exam for Medical students for their state quota and 30% for management seats. Eligibility is 50% for 12th grade with 2nd group science with biology, chemistry and physics. The cutoff of NEET was nearly 590 marks in All india quota according to NEET 2024.
