Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is average like every college in Greater Noida has the same affiliations under AKTU, so they all have the same syllabus, But the thing I like is the teaching methods of teachers, to make things easy to understand they provide real-life examples... Exam timing are good they provide 2 hrs to write a 50 marks exam and the invigilators always keep an eye on student that no UFM is used.

Internships Opportunities

4

College just tell about this internship is open you can apply for this, if you got selected then it's good if not then better luck next time, recently some students cracked internship in top companies like Microsoft... College also promotes us to participate in hackatons like recently college gave everyone opportunities from 1st year to 4th year to participate in Smart India hackathon...

Placement Experience

3

from the 3rd year, you are eligible to sit in campus placements, but if you have good skills and college placement isn't providing you more package you can opt for off-campus placements. Highest placement of 2024 was from Microsoft 49 LPA (off campus) but from on campus it was 21 LPA from Duco Consultancy, the percentage of students getting placement is good almost everyone gets placed if they meet certain criteria given by the company The average package is 5 LPA. Companies that visit is TCS, WIPRO, TECH-MAHINDRA, and some new startups.

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fees mentioned in the brochure is 1,39,000 /Yr for first-year students and later it will be 1,30,000 /Yr for the remaining 3 years. If you opt for this college from counseling, the fees will be only around 80k/yr. No extra charges will be taken. If you are from counseling, only the exam fees will be taken, which are 7500 (will be for both direct and counseling students), and there will be no hidden charges. If you opt for this college with direct admission then they will charge you 1,39,000/yr if you have good merit then you might be getting discounts... i had 75% in 12th so I got 10k discount A friend of mine who qualified with a good score in JEE (97 percentile) + good marks in class 12th had fees of only 30k per year and for AKTU registrations you have to pay 1000.. (only for direct admission students).. moreover, every student has to pay 7500 for the uniform which they will provide 3 shirts, 3 pants, 2 ties, 1 coat, 1 blazer.

Campus Life

4

Overall experience with campus life is good, it's a pretty large college with supportive staff... Seniors are also very friendly. The Labs are also very good and well-maintained... Each class has its own biometric for attendance and AC for hot summers... There's also a temple in which you can stay positive and pray to god for good marks in the semester. The library also provides you with good quality books for each semester which you don't have to renew per month, you can keep those books until the semester ends and return them when the exam is over. the student-run groups like tech clubs, different houses that compete with each other on cultural fest, photography clubs, music clubs, drama clubs, etc. There are also Apple Lab, SMC Lab and many more

Admission

I did try to apply for IP - COLLEGES like MAIT, BVCOE, MSIT, etc but due to a low score in JEE, I couldn't get into it.. After that I tried to get into universities Like Sharda, amity, VIT but due to high fees I need to drop that plan too.. in greater noida, I searched for many colleges , took review from each student about the colleges some said don't take admission in our's some said you can take admission but the college is pretty decent. but when I came to ITS 90% of the students said the college is good, they provide many opportunities even tho it;s not that popular than other colleges. I am from delhi and I had any plan of joining any other colleges that delhi but in a fair of colleges held by college dunia in pragati maidan they showed us not to worry if you had messed up in JEE there are also good colleges other than that.

Faculty

5

The faculty-to-student ratio is pretty decent, in a class of 60 students 2 groups are divided into 30-30 students under different mentors, if a person is having any problem they can just go to their mentors and get their issue resolved. The faculty is friendly to the student, until or unless you are an irritating element of the class, if you are a good student then the faculty will be too much supportive and if you are a weak student then the facility will try there best to make that student grow, The faculties are too much supportive. But some faculties (only 1 out of 10) are pretty strict they will only give marks if you had written the answer properly with the points they had mentioned in class.

Night Life

4

If you are a gym rat, the gym provided by the college is kind of average but they will provide all the gym machines. there are specific times for gym. The hostel is not that good, if you get an opportunity to take a good hostel then that outside but inside the college hostel ain't that good. there are many hangout spots outside the colleges (nearly 1 - 2 km away)... in college hostel for girls the timing is get outside the college is by 6 only after that they aren't allowed until there parents said so. the wardern is pretty strict for boys...

Course Curriculum Overview:

Jims is a ipu college, so yeah curriculum depends entirely on ipu University. First year is similar for all btech courses. Or is easy to earn marks in lab and soft skill subjects but maths or physics is hard. Your 12th basics should be very good, else these two subjects will affect your overall SGPA badly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course structure is good of btech but there there is only thing I don't like is that in btech course the subjects in first year are not related to career of students because there is physics, chemistry other irrelevant subjects present in first year but in second year the course become interesting and relevant. Curriculum is good and prepare well for real world applications. The exams comes frequently every month there is a class test but class tests are moderate on the basis of there difficulty level.

Some local and local-level comanies even visit for campus recruitment with average offers. Average package: 2-4 LPA, highest around 9-10 LPA 60-90 percent students get placed. My plan is to develop my skills and attain a good job or go for higher studies after degree.

Honestly speaking I don't like the curriculum of my college. Everything is same which people studied 20 years ago . Only few things has been changed and I don't understand why we need to study about things which don't have any existence in reality. They should focus on current tech and provide more learning opportunities in AI.
