Course Curriculum Overview

4

I chose specialisation in A I. and data science in vgu according to me the course is quite relevant to the real life applications or skills that we need further in future to get any job. In specialisation, they provide access to red hat and Amazon Web services that are very helpful as they also provide the certificate after the completion of the course but some of the subjects like bee( basic electrical electronics) and mechanical workshop I think subjects are not relevant to my course and shout be removed in further future. I frequency of exams as I discussed earlier it's 3 times in 1 semester that is mid 1, mid 2 and end exams and the difficulty level is easy to moderate.

Placement Experience

4

Vgu placement is average as compared to other colleges but the startup opportunity in this college is very good as there was a place in vgu called acic where you can register your startup ideas and after completing the registration process you will get the mentor and funds to run your business which is very helpful. Also the average package for btech specialisation is around 10 lakhs and the highest placement till now is 44 lakhs in previous years

Fees and Financial Aid

The tution fee is 150000 yearly but I got the scholarship of 25 percent which is around 37500 because I give the university scholarship exam that is vgucet. Generally, they give 20 percent off but if you scored well in vgucet you got 25 percent off . But if you have given cuet you will get upto 30 percent off on tution fee only not on hostel and other expenses. The registration fee is 2000 per semester and the exam fee is also 2000 per semester and the hostel fee for 3 seater is 85000 for 2 seater it is 110000 and for 3 seater 130000 with all common bathroom now for single seater with attached bathrooms and ac it's 150000 for double seater with the attached bathroom it's 145000 and for girls hostel prices are much higher side.

Campus Life

5

The campus is very big. we celebrated lots of fest in our college. The event features more than 50 activities, including cultural performances, sports competitions, dance, theatre, drama, and poetry sessions

Admission

So In my past I prepared for iit jee and also give the exam but I got only 94.5 percentile in jee mains and 103 marks in jee advanced and as a general student I didn't got any seat in nit and iit although I sit in the jossa counciling but at the end I didn't got any seats also I didn't want to take drop so I start applying for other colleges I applied for many college but I prefer this college because the fees of this college is quite relevant and as a middle class student I can only afford this college.

Faculty

5

The faculties of the university is very supportive and sweet. every time when I have any doubt they will clear them very peaceful. Generally the faculties to student ratio is 1:25 but approaching the faculties is easy as generally faculties are available in staff room whenever we need them . The faculties I like the most is Lokesh yadev , yutti sharma , sawita sharma , bhavna and atul because they help me every time whenever needed and there was no facultie that I don't like . Exams in vgu is conducted in 3 phase in a semester that is mid term 1 , mid term 2 and end term here the mid term 1 is easy to moderate, mid term 2 is open book that is you can carry your notes and book in the exam hall and in end the difficulty level is also easy to moderate.

Night Life

5

The campus gym is well-equipped and typically closes around 9 PM. It’s a popular spot for students to unwind after classes.Cafeterias and food courts on campus usually operate until 10 PM. Late-night snacks might be available in hostel canteens. The library usually closes by 8 PM, though some private study areas may be accessible later. Students often gather in open spaces or near the central courtyard for casual discussions, music sessions, or group activities until 10 PM.For girls Typically, entry is restricted after 9 PM

Placement Experience:

Placements in my college are average but improving. Students become eligible for campus placements from 7th semester. A few companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture (off-campus support), Capgemini, and some local Jaipur-based IT firms visit the campus. Most offers are for software trainee, support, testing, or analyst roles. The average package is around 3–4 LPA, while the highest package goes up to 8–10 LPA (mostly off-campus or through exceptional performance). Around 60–70% students get placed through campus or combined on/off-campus efforts.

In my college there are very good placement chances if you score good marks and be a good student there and we can get an average package of 4 to 5 lakhs per annum and if we are better than if you are very good student we can also get more than 10 lakhs per annum it all depends on us because we have to study and we have to take out chances but if I don't get any employment from there I will start doing it off campus and will do my own business or something like that but I will definitely try hard to get a placement from this college because it is very good and I want to get I am job from this college to start my life of making money

Overall the curriculum is rated high on the comprehensiveness but moderated to high i relevance. the program's focus on renewable energy Integration and the availability of high end labs influenced me to choose this course and the curriculum provided real world foundation for public sector roles and higher studies. Exams follow the rtu cycle and the difficulty is generally high from the other branches and they are following old pattern and syllabus it should be updated

So the curriculum is good but if I talk about the latest then it's not up to that level like nothing is up to that level you cannot learn new things you have to still stick around to old thanks and real world applications there is nothing you have to separate your mind in two ways the one is for your semester exams and another is for your real world challenges
