Dislikes
- during my admission process it was somewhere inconvenient for me due to slow management process but they can't be blamed as good things take time.
- the common rooms are required to be well maintained. much more maintained than they are now.
- inconvenience about class schedule as i regularly skip my meals or am very late for it.
Course Curriculum Overview
I wanted to go into the field of research and technology. So biotechnology was the thing which kept me hooked to this course. however according to NEP 2020 i was asked to chose multidisicplinary coureses as well as skill develpoing courses which is helpful for my real world practices. regular class tests are conducted.
Internships Opportunities
although i have heard that the college faculties as well as managemnet helps students with their intership but i haven't came across it, so can;t really say anything about it yet. however i firmly believe that the intership the college will provide to it's students will be reliable.
Fees and Financial Aid
Per semester, my course takes approcimately 7000 rupees, however i am from self finance course. So, for normal students it will be lesser than mine. which can be from 3500 to 4000 rupees. yearly it costed me total figure of 14671 rupees excluding seminar fees and etc. recently a seminar regarding the field of botany and biotechnology was conducted for which i had to submit 500 rupees as seminar fees. however for students other than self fiancing course the seminar fees was 200 to 300 rupees. this college offers many government scholarship programmes and helps student to deal with it.
Campus Life
seminars are held, along with sports activites and cultural activitieslike dance competition, singing competiotion as well as rangoli competition etc. there are variety of books in the libraries and there is also a reference site to acess the book no of the library, in the college website generally seminars are held in the conference hall which is well equipped.
Admission
I chose this college because i wanted to stay near my hometown. and it was much good for my traveling expences if compared to the other colleges i applied for. Eligibility: 12th pass from any board CUT OFF: in the first selection oh phase I the cutoff for biotechnology was 76%
Faculty
The faculties are much aquianted towards the students learning ability rather than fastly completing there syllabus, which is a very good thing. regular class tsts or we can say surprise tests are conducted to keep an eye on students studies. faculties also support students with their cultural or co ciricullar activities.
Night Life
college canteen is new, and can be considerable if we look in it's quantity and quality with the cost price. however the tea still tastes more like water. the best things this college has is hangout places for students.
