I did get shortlisted in some, but I chose SASTRA mainly because of its better academic reputation, affordable fee structure compared to VIT/SRM, and strict yet student-friendly environment. VIT and SRM had flashier campuses and more events, but their fees were almost double, so SASTRA felt like the smarter choice. The different between the college i applied for and sastra will be Reputation: In my surroundings sastra have a great goodwill and Reputation compared to other colleges. Placements: sastra provide wide range of placements and opportunities while other colleges have limited options. Academic: sastra provide a great faculty , other diploma to add on which adds great value and research opportunities. I applied for sastra and srm in trichy, i got selected in both the colleges but i choose sastra Over srm. I choose sastra because of it's quality education.
