Before selecting TANUVAS for your course make sure to know these things .

I love animals so I chose veterinary. The course is well designed to teach you and make you a doctor even tho you are not paying attention. Teaching methods need improvement otherwise it's all good to study. After every 2 months there is exam so it's kind of hectic.

Internship is compulsory for 1 complete year with 15 days off only . We have to go in other colleges of Tamil Nadu's different districts for every month and in farms of Tamil nadu also. The facilities provided for internship students is in average condition in colleges but bad condition in farms. Stipend is 11k per month which is very low according to a veterinary doctor.

Every year around 25k is paid during registration For general category students. There are scholarship available for Tamil nadu students but till yet there is no scholarship for VCI Students. 7000 is hostel fee every year and 18k is yearly fees.

There is only one cultural program held every year in June month that is in the start of each year. There are plenty of books in library. Facilities are good in classroom. Extracurricular activities are equal to zero here No groups run here by students. Only studies.

Hostel facility are ok ok . 1 room given for 2 girls with 2 single beds, 2 cupboards,2 desk and chair sets. Mess food is below average and we can't do anything about it it's all Tamil nadu food and chapathi is given on Monday morning and Thursday night that's it. For hostel registration is done in college itself during admission.

I gave neet exam and got this college according to my choice filling in VCI counseling. You can get into this college through neet exam score by vci counseling. Or by Tamil nadu state counseling for Tamil nadu students.

Faculty no. Is ok but the teaching is a issue only what is written in books is told in english otherwise they will use Tamil most of the time for explanation. Only few professors teach in english completely. There are total 4 exams in total 3 internals and 1 final boards exam in each year . Exams are tough to deal with as syllabus is huge.

Gym and cafeteria is available outside the campus but nothing is inside the campus. Hostel timings are 6.30 pm for girls and 8.30pm for boys. Outside the campus in local market which is kind of very bad in condition as it is a village so no good shops or cafes here.
