Graphic Era Yes or No?

I chose this course because I wanted to be a software engineer and also because dehradun is a great place. My decision to be in this college is not because of it's curriculum because usually college's have same syllabus.

The total fee course for the year is almost 4 lakhs and if you've scored above 75% in PCM you can get a scholarship for Btech courses. You can also opt for a loan but the college does not provide that, they will give you a letter and you've to reach out to your local bank. There are no fees other than the college or if you're in a hostel. If you want to be in clubs you have to pay a minimum of 100 rupees and the maximum amount you're going to spend is on stationaries and food.

Campus life is good if you're in campus hostel. Clubs do have events but not every club is a great club. The infrastructure is nice but not big. Student can choose how many clubs they want based on their skills. Sports events happen and you can participate only if you're great.

The hostel is good but it is really strict and the food we get in our mess is great except for the occasional presence of cockroaches, hair or earthworms. The food is not and and you can definitely eat it. The main thing is that you will not have to sleep empty stomach.

Graphic Era is nearer to my hometown rather than other colleges plus it had easy availability of the course I wanted to be in. Graphic era is a good college in terms of overall structure,curriculum and events.

If you're lucky enough you'll get good teachers otherwise you're going to get teachers who are just there to be there or there to just read things to you. Most of my teachers just come for the sake of being there and also just because a teacher has a PhD doesn't mean he/she is a great teacher. Personally, I liked Neetu Sharma ma'am who teaches chemistry to 1st year students she is really approachable and a great teacher. Amir Shaikh sir of graphics is also a great and approachable teacher. These personally are my favourite teachers and I hope you get them as your faculty too. There are 2 semesters each has a different course, A detailed course structure with the syllabus is available on the college's website.

Girls have to be in the hostel before 9 so it is kinda bad but otherwise,e it's a good nightlife we have on campus. Boys can roam till whatever time they want. The campus life is beautiful and you get chances to socialize and also usually there are people sitting and vibing together so it's fun.
