Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course curriculum is very well prepared making us study all those things that a medical student should be knowing and which will help us becoming a good doctor Bit areas of improvement i think is correct division of number of subjects in each year because in 3rd yr we are studying 2 subjects but in 4rth year 11 subjects which is a lot for a year Rest teaching and everything is good

Internships Opportunities

4

Internships are the compulsory internship given in medical college and stipend for that is 18000 in that only 17800 comes into your bank and 200 for tax this can also be redeemed if you apply for the income tax in my college internship is very well done because most of the hospital is managed in terms making it learning new things and having a pretty good exposure in whole lot of MBBS major clinical things are learnt in internships only Internship is hectic covering about 12 hours of Duty 24 out of Duty on the basis of subjects you are doing internship into

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee stucture include hostel fee college fee gym fees and library expenses kkmn Course is 5.5 years long But you gave to pay for 4.5 years and 1 year of compulsory internship Government medical college charge way less than private colleges 1st yr 132000 2nd yr 189900 3rd yr 120900 4rth yr 145070 As a student from all india quota and general i dont get any fee concession Srudnets from Maharashtra and cast students get heavy concession like paying just 16000 per year Scolarships are there for Maharashtra student only not applicable for all india quota students

Campus Life

2

Overall experience is average because in my college this very less fest there is no such annual and Technical face and doctor and my college so journey in the name of Ganesh Chaturthi which is very well celebrated in Maharashtra gfc is conducted every year on a large scale you just conducted by students of college itself and some of the smaller events are happening generally in this event college student only participate and in my college there is no such societies which will groom you to the best level in terms of extra curricular activities it is bit low but in terms of patient load and everything it is a good college to opt for

Hostel Facilities

3

The facilities provided in hostel room is pretty good room is spacious. It is a double sharing do they provide us with two beds two tables chairs and an almirah making it with a comfortable stay we have common washrooms to use and those washrooms are clean by the hostel staff on regular basis hostel is a lot more affordable then renting a PG room because of the facilities provided the PG is here are very affordable hostel procedure is done during admission process submitting few forms and a dd of hostel fees

Admission

Admission process is via neet ug examination According to your rank you will get the college according to my rank i know i can get a government college in Maharashtra So filled up counselling according to that I choose this college because of the patient load and it is center of city, have pg seats, have great exposure Admission process includes neet ug examination and then filling colleges in the preference list in councelling and when you get the college submitting documents

Faculty

3

Faculty is to student ratio is 1:8 Faculty and studnet relationship is but rare more in clinical subjects than in theory ones I liked ms supare ma'am because she is an amazing teacher so far of anatomy and damn helpful There are a lot of exams in medical fields Chronological it is first term second term, prelims, and then professional exams

Night Life

3

Hostel life is great but as in a girls hostel in time is 10 p.m. but boys hostel don't have any any time they can room anywhere in night which make their nightlife way better than girls there are lot of gym start fatigers and public area near by but only they are close at night because it is not that big city there is a poha centre which is open till 6 in the morning which is the famous place for the college people to hangout

Curriculum is highly planned and very vast. Regular revision is necessary to caver all subjects. All subjects are taught with high practical basis hence ensuring exposure and preparing for real life exposure. Teaching could be more consise and logic based. Main exams are every 2 to 3 months with difficulty slightly higher in term 2 than term 1.
