Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum has changed and is now competency based which is of great importance and value . Helps in nurturing well driven doctors for the future . More clinical exposure is attained . Various attitude Ethics and communication methods are taught
Internships Opportunities
Internship programme is available in the hospital with a stipend of 12000 rupees . Various other courses like hospital administration and management is also available , nursing options are also great . Pharmacy internships are also available
Fees and Financial Aid
I will be paying a total of 1 crore as I took admission via NRI seat . For merit based seat it's 9 lakh per Annum Fees are not obliged for ST, Sc students . Hostel facilities are available with a fees of 1 lakh yearly . The college has a very beautiful campus and atmosphere . The weather is perfect for students to have a productive academic schedule The hospital is well maintained and patients are taken care of with utmost care . As this is a hill station and not a metropolitan city , the patient flow is less compared to other medical colleges . But this hospital is a super speciality is a district like wayanad and if of high quality medical services
Campus Life
Campus has all sorts of extra curricular activities. Various events are organised by the college union. All sorts of sports and arts programmes are encouraged by the students and faculties . Multiple clubs are present in the campus . The college is an amazing central library facility for the students where they can chill and study without disturbances
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility is great . One person will be sharing a room with 2 other students . There is laundry facility . Great food . Cleaning agency available. Hot water facility . Boiled water for drinking . Also there is single occupancy rooms for interns and other students . 1 lakh yearly
Admission
This college has great atmosphere and campus compared to other colleges . The weather conditions here are very pleasant for the students to have a fresh mind for academics . Students choose not to go to their homes during vacations as they have a very free and confortable campus with great hostel facilities
Faculty
Faculties are very academically oriented and help the students in all ways . Multiple tests and exams are conducted to help the students . Marking scheme is also reliable and helps in scoring great marks in the university exams .
Night Life
The college itself is a great place to hang out with friends. The college has various spots where students can gather and have a chill time . It has an amphitheater. A basketball court . A football ground, a cafe , a small supermarket and all other basic amenities required
