Course Curriculum Overview

The field of Medicine is Noble as well as generous. One who has intrest in medical studies will surely like this. The teaching doesn't play much of a role in MBBS. Mostly you have to learn theory topics from online platforms. The exams are once in 2-3 months , and the difficulty is moderate ,and varies according to the respective subject.

For general category The fees is 1,47,000 per year ,which includes Admission - 1500 Development Fund Fee - 5000 Term Fees - 1,38,000 Library fees - 1000 Hospital Practice - 1200 Gymkhana - 500 For OBC / SC / ST categories the overall fess is rs 8900 per year.

Hostel Facilities

3

There is no hostel for first year as well as half of the second year. After 20 months, you get the hostel It is on a Sharing basis in second year and half of the third year you get 4 people in one room. At the end of the third year.. you get rooms with 2 people Sharing a room There is no canteen in the hostel. You have to subscribe to a dabe wala or eat outside or from online. Facilities provided in the room are only Fan and a Light. In my first year I rented a room In Sion Kolidwada

Admission

I applied GSMC , LTMMC, BJMC , TNMC And GGMC I choose this college as I had heard from friends that academics here are good , and the library and all stuff is renovated etc. I couldn't make to GSMC due to its high cutoff, as I was 15-20 marks short of it The admission procedure begins after you select the college in MCC counselling for Neet UG. If you get selected your name will appear in the selection list. The cutoff my time for General was approx 618 For OBC 605

Faculty

2

There are approx 8-9 faculties in every department ( this too varies according to the respective department ) There are mainly 3 exams in first and second year as follows - The first Internal , Second Internal and Preliminary examination. Also there is an additional examination for students who couldn't appear for any of these exams. Then there is the final university examination. Not many students fail. In every batch average 8-10 students fail every year.

Night Life

4

The gym is available for second year students after they are allotted the hostel There is no limitation to the in and out timing in the hostel as most of the medicos study at night. There aren't much hangout places near the college. You have to go to Marines etc.

I genuinely choosed this course to earn money. Even this course offers respect in society. And prepares well for the real world applications. In my college they use projector for teaching and not digital board. Exams conducted are very easy and not so strict.

Curriculum is highly planned and very vast. Regular revision is necessary to caver all subjects. All subjects are taught with high practical basis hence ensuring exposure and preparing for real life exposure. Teaching could be more consise and logic based. Main exams are every 2 to 3 months with difficulty slightly higher in term 2 than term 1.
