What Students Say

Likes

The things I liked in college are the campus
The faculty and everyone is helpful and students are well behaved
The gym and other facilities available for students are good

Dislikes

The exams are conducted too frequently and are moderate
The hostel mess is not that good and campus is small
The area is in outskirts of the city so nothing much happens

Course Curriculum Overview

No specific reason for me to choose this degree I just chose it because I was offered computer science the teaching methods are a little outdated and the exams are conducted by two units and third one as well for failing Students and an end sem

Class Size: 180Course Fees: INR 157000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Many companies like cognizant tcs and AWS come to the campus for placements the projects are conducted but I don't know much about it as I'm in first year but the internships are offered without any stipend most of the times and also u have to have a high cgpa

Placement Experience

The students here become eligible for placements after the 6 7 semesters as the companys have a faculty member teaching here who scouts students and offer's placements highest package offered was 70 lpa and avg package is 4 to 5 lakhs per annum

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fees is somewhere around 157000 But scholarships are available for students with obc sc st and general as well even hostel scholarships are available the fee ranges from 40000 to as high as 160000

Campus Life

There are no annual college fests held here just a freshers party called novato and it's named different every year the hostel has been more than enough activities than the college and social groups are just for name

Hostel Facilities

The rooms are very good but there is no specific cleaning schedule the rooms are cleaned but not regularly and the hostel mess is not that good and the hostel is actually a little bit costly than other pgs

Admission

I didn't apply to any other colleges and I took admission here through cet cap rounds there are no other criteria for admission and no exam's i didn't get rejected from any other colleges and nothing went wrong

Faculty

The faculty to students ratio is of 180 students and 8 or 9 teachers so it's ok the exams conducted are not that difficult but are conducted too frequently the faculty that I like is the physics faculty

Night Life

The gym is ok with good equipments for students and the hostel is good for students as it provides a bed personal table chair fans pillows covers amenities and students are also well behaved and it's very safe to roam at night

Honest review if you wanna opt for this college

Likes

The girls to boy ratios is good, we get to see all girls equal contributing in the college
The faculty is good, they are very helpful and give good guidance
The boys and girls common room is good to get together with friends to chill and study

Dislikes

Faculty being good they are sassy and might ignore for a time to teach you that not everything will be entertained
The principal is kinda rude and his speech is too long
Well other activities like sports isn't support properly

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem students are eligible for placement Companies visited are tcs and few others i don't remember their names The average package is 5 lpa and the highest is 13 lpa Mostly 80-90% of students gets placement as they do a placement training for us amd prepares us for the placement exams and interviews and all My personal plan is to go abroad for higher studies but i am going to sit for placement if i get good package then i might not go to abroad for higher studies

PES College of Engineering: Overview of the college

Likes

The campus of the college is vast with a natural environment
Many facilities like library, sophisticated labs, and classrooms are provided by the college
The Teachers cover each and every point of the syllabus and guide the students.

Dislikes

The syllabus is a little bit outdated, that is some points in the syllabus may seems boring and not applicable in the real world.
The Teachers should use the right techniques for teaching which makes the students more engaging in the class.
The menu of the canteen must contain some health option in a budget friendly way.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is decent in the college as compare to other colleges of the city . many companies visited the college every year to hire the skillful engineers from the college and offer them a good amount of package. The option of the offcampus palcement is also there for the students of the other colleges.

I really liked the infrastructure of the college its very nice and has good environment .
DPCOE is famous for its sports , it has massive turf where kids of 4 to 5 age has their matches
Also i like my department , as i am an automobile engineering we need most practical knowledge , this college offers a big workshop just for us an also yearly event for automobile students . Also clubs are there which has reputation of national rank

Dislikes

I kind of felt that faculty can be biased sometimes also do not care what and how we want to study .
Watchman can be little rude sometimes , also informing that their are exam coming in next week are to be informed at leat 10 days before. I have a suggestion of preparing acadamic calender of year

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

College campus, it is big, not much conjusted, good nature friendly
Freedom upto some level, no uniforms, no ID compulsion unless it is an exam
Events,every now and then there are events in college, cultural club is also too good here👍

Dislikes

Faculty is not much well qualified or well trained I would say
Hectic curriculum, boring schedules and quite unlivable
Labs and classrooms are too old, infrastructure is very old

Placement Experience:

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student,and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.

Campus is huge and there is to much space for walk and greenari
Affordable price in cantin same we eat outside.
Not that much strict environment than many of the college.

Dislikes

Campus is huge but is mostly empty need of development.
Need of infrastructure and sports facility for students.
Need of contact no. Of emergency contact of the staff.

Placement Experience:

I talk with most of the senior and faculty and placement cell start of 3 rd year you will get internship opportunities and and in 4 th year you will get placement opportunity. But senior told me off campus placement preparation must be go on you will find good opportunity. Highest package is 12 lpa and average is 4 lpa is good for freshers.

my college is in rural division so i liked the nature and environment of the college most and the college is have rural position and college have bus facility so all the student from poor family are is admitted in this college
my college have bus facility for the students
college have good campus in rural area and the college is good

Dislikes

college have no placement for the students
college having some times electricity short
college have some students water issue for drinking

I like my college building,classes,labs.
Canteen is good.it provides good quality food.
Library is best. Very nice management and staff

Dislikes

Canteen is good but they must increase their staff.
Class should be sound proof.noice from outside disturbs.
Stationary staff should be increased and price should be decreased.

Placement Experience:

From sem 7 students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Accenture,Wipro, Microsoft, HyperVerge have visited college. In 2020 highest package was 30 lac per annum by Amazon. Last year only 40% students got the placement. I am planning for competitive exams after degree.

Some departments here were really great like ETC and Mechanical with a unique culture going on
AIML and AIDS being new branches here are still doing their job very well for the students

Dislikes

The Students section not really tends to help ,as i saw many financially weak students facing the problem of 1 time payment fees and their request for part payments option is always rejected
Infrastructure is decent but in summer season the water coolers are just useless there ,no cooler will give you cold water

Course Curriculum Overview:

Some courses were to the point like IOT was well designed and DSA too with java programming side by side ,still as i said AIML is new branch and needs much enhancements ,the areas where they can improve was always practicals and labs those were always taken casual as i remember

Hello, The infrastructure of the college is top class.
Their are multiple events in the college every month.
The faculty of the college are also well experienced as well as very friendly.

Dislikes

There are no AC in all the class only some of the class have AC

Placement Experience:

The placement percentage in my college is nearly 70-80%. The minimum package offered is 2.5 LPA and the highest is nearly 33 LPA . The average package is 4-5 LPA. Many companies vists are college as our college is NAAC accredited which has a grade of A+.

i choose GH Raisoni College of Engineering and Management because it offered a good balance of affordable fees, AI specialization in CSE, and supporting faculty. I had also applied to MIT and DY-patil colege, but there cutoffs were slightly higher than my score. Admission is through maharashtra CAP based on MHT-CET Or JEE Main. Eligiblity required 10+2 with PCM subject. The Cutoff for CSE/AI usually ranges around 75-90 percentile depending on Category. I chose G. H. Raisoni College of Engineering and Management over some other private colleges mainly because of its decent reputation, placement record, infrastructure, and location in Pune. I had also applied to a few other colleges through CAP counseling, but I couldn’t secure higher-ranked government colleges due to my rank/cutoff, so this college was the best option available to me in my preferred branch. The admission process is done mainly through MHT-CET/JEE Main via CAP rounds, and management quota is also available. The moderate college of engineering in pune , with moderate fees and good environment.

I first thought to join lpu and wrote plunest exam but after getting the review i cancelled the admission even after paying 10000 rs seat reservation fee . but basically my jee got blanked. i wrote cuet and comedk and mhtcet through which i got admission in pune . i comedk and cuet my marks were low but in councelling also i got low colleges. in my current college you can take admission of gh raisoni engineering college wagholi pune through mht cet and jee. You can apply for mhtcet councelling even if you didnt applied for mhtcet exam but you have to pay 1000 fee. but the admission is very long and it takes till sept. for admission completion . cutoff for civil was 72% in mhtcet. experiance was very hactic of councelling you have to updated every date during councelling....Read More
