Complete Description from my point of view

The course curriculum is based on the criteria followed by kurukshetra university. It is very old curriculum and it needs to be chaned according to the industry demands The subject such as new skill based course is required to be introduced in curriculum 45 days training should be scraped instead 6 months internship should be implemented

The placement was very good during previous batches , but in my batch the placement was very low due to recession in the market. The student are eligible for placement during the 7th semester and the companies starts visiting during the starting of 7th semester itself. The companies such as Daffodil , Unthinkable, Cloud Analogy , Bajaj Finance , Far Eye , 75 ways tech , code quotient and many more. Highest package - 9lpa Lowest package - 2.6 lpa Average package - 3 lpa 50% of students are placed from my batch I got placed during my 8th sem.

The fees for a year was 90000/ year , and it was same throughout the course from 1st to 4th year But for my juniors the fees was 10% higher then mine My college have TWF quota for which the total fees per year is around 30000.

There are many types of cultural and technical events occur in the college . In college there are approx 50 clubs which conduct varous types of activities througth the year. The mega cultural fest (ENCAHNTE) occur at the time of march ending which is the biggest fest of my college. The technical fest (TECHNOVANZA) occurs during November , is the annual tech fest of college The books are available in central library on almost every topics including new technologies and competitive exams study material (GATE, CAT) A student is allowed to take 4 books , 2 for whole semester and 2 for 14 days each. The facilities in the classrooms includes - Air conditioners, White boards , projectors and many more .

There are various types of options available in hostel room selection. Single seater , double or triple sharing(max) . There are two types of rooms AC And Non A.C. The AC room price is more than that of non ac room with approx 9k rupees difference. The AC time period is between April 15 to October 15. The other facilities are common in both ac and non ac rooms which include one chair , one study table , one bed and one tubelight The meal is provided through hostel mess. Hostel mess is compulsory for 10 months . There are total 3 meals provided. Overall the Meal quality was decent according to the charges taken (2500/month)

I choose this college because the placement opportunities during my admission time was very good and almost eveyone from college got placed. The second reason was the fees was less then other colleges such as chandigarh , chitkara university. I have applied for chitkara and chandigarh university but i didn't went there because of there higher fees. Admission process is simple it is based on jee mains marks and also 12th marks. Mine was through 12th marks

The faculty members are very qualified, they have good knowledge of their subjects, the teachers are always helpful in solving a student doubts and problems Computer science department teachers are always approachable for any kind of problems Faculty to student ratio is like 1:40 There are three sessional exam during a semester, out of which best two sessional marks are considered for internal marks

The night life in my college is very restricted. The hostel timings are strict . The timing for boys are 10 pm for the hostel entry and college main entrance timings is 9 pm And for girls the timing for main gate entry is 6 pm and hostel entry is 6:30 pm There is a gym in each boys and girls hostel. There is a canteen in college which is opened till 6 pm in the evening. During exam time the canteen open till 10 pm. And the reading room facility is available for boys till 2pm .
