Everything you should know about Suryadatta college of pharmacy.

I was first preparing for neet exam which i didn't scored well after which pharmacy was the best option i can get so i chose this. Curriculum prepares in a better way for real world application and further academics. The teaching method can be improved as some of the teachers just read out the ppt's. You get enough time for exam preparation.

I am studying in suryadatta college of pharmacy and healthcare research (SCPHR). So my experience in these years are as follows: Overall the experience was good enough but not too impressive , the staff you'll meet is good but everyone is facing issues with the principle of the department ! Fees structure : so yearly you'll be having to pay 80000 rs if you are a general candidate. If you come under economically weaker section i.e EWS ,you can get a consession upto half of the fees about 49000 rs only , Also for other backward classes you can apply for scholarships like rajashri chattrapati shahu maharaj yojna that helps with half or more of the fees amount . All those tuition fees,caution fees,registration fees,admission fees,development fees,lab fees and other fees are included in it . There's a friend of mine who is from VJNT class she pays just 12 to 13k per year because of the same scholarship. Lastly if you are willing to take admission in SCPHR don't expect too much ! Both culturally and academically.

A annual gathering i.e suryotsav is held in February. Where you get to showcase your talent. Mostly every festival is celebrated in the college. The library is provided to the students with every book possible and needed which you can have for about a week also standard books are provided. You'll be getting a projector and a smart tv for teaching purpose . Not sports but extracurricular activities are held like various competitions and other hobbies showcase.

I live in pg. With 8000 rent including the mess,wifi,washing machine and geyser. Meal quality is good enough we can say edible. You'll be having to pay deposit of minimum 7k and the rent money. The pg I'm living in is near to the college

I did applied for other colleges but i didn't got it because of the merits i would have got it till third cap round but i preferred this college. Honestly i was new in the city and close to this college my cousin was living i had no idea about the college as we were the first batch. Admission process is easy you just have to pass the cap round, after that you'll get a call for admission process and the date will be given.at the day you'll be given certain documents to fill.

Faculty is good except the principle. You'll get two teachers for one subject ,the relationship between faculty and student depends upon student and there behavior. Best faculty comparatively is Ms.bhagyashree pawar mam. I personally like her because she listens the problem and gives the solution as a parent. The faculty i didn't like is the principle as he is too arrogant and disrespectful towards everyone. You'll be having two sessional exams of 30 marks and a end semester every semester i.e every 6 months .which means two semesters per year, semester of 75 marks. They are easy if you study. Less students fail usually to clear the exams.

Gym is provided for the students free of cost,till 8 o clock at evening. Trainer is present too Canteens are provided with clean surrounding. There's no hostel provided by college but you can get pg services closer to the college. Famous hangout places are usually canteen and ground area. There are bouncers every where to safeguard you.
