Likes

The department offers a peaceful environment for the students to study. The dept is covered with greenery and the department offers great information on the subject we are studying
There is every kind of specimens like rocks, minerals,fossils
The department offers a great library with a lot of books.

Dislikes

The teaching faculty is just an average.Some of the teachers doesn't speak in english properly which makes us difficulty in understanding and studying the subject.
The washrooms in the department is terrible.There is no proper maintenance of the toilet which is the most important thing in any colleges or department.There is not even proper place for washing hands.
The schedule for.the classes are not maintained in proper

The course geology offers a wide range of informations about the earth we're living on.People who interested in exploring places and the planet earth will flourish in this subject.The subject also offers a wide range of job opportunities

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 39035 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fee for the course on geology is 39035 for the first year and 11000 for the second year for the students outside karnataka.For the students who have previously studied in Karnataka or the karnataka students have the fee structure of 15000. There is a plan b structure alse

Campus Life

The infrastructure and the overall atmosphere is just awesome.We get fresh air and positive atmosphere all over the university.The canteen of the college is also a good one.all kinds of books are available on this college and free wifi is also available.The only problem for these are the library membership which is a hectic job.The college has a small ground where we should play all kinds of sports activities which is an average thing.Or else the sports department is away from the college which is placed from a distance from the college.The programmes conducted are only in department wise

Admission

I was focused on this specific college.The main reason was the ranking of the college and the facilities provided by the university.The degree certificate is also have a great importance.The admission process for the college is completely online and the student who is opting this college should write an entrance exam.

Faculty

The faculty of the department is just an average and the department lacks experienced teachers.The teachers have difficulty in communicating in English language which is essential for the students who are studying outside the karnataka state and international students.The way of teaching lacks vision. The exams have a pattern of internal exam and then the sem exam.The semester is classified into 4.

Night Life

Favorites hangout spots include the clocktower mainly and the cricket stadium.There is a whole lot of place to explore in the college which makes us less boring.Nightlife in the college is not available since the college is closed after 7.But still you could get access when going without falling in the eyes of security

BU needs more Improvement

Placement Experience:

After 3rd sem, we are eligible for campus placements. There'll be job drive for around 1 week where we get to attend. Commerce students get more opportunities rather than Botany students but nevertheless we get to work in medical feilds depending on interviews
