The campus is so eco friendly and it has so much greenary
There is so many departments and faculties
The library here is huge and has so many books as well as faculties

Dislikes

Most of the teachers and faculties here are great but still a few ones need a little improvement
The university website and information system need to be developed

Course Curriculum Overview

This geology course in one of the underrated and growing field which is now recently increasing its demand. As an intresting field also a future demanding field. this course might develop more. In the modern world in many aspects such as ONGC,GSI,GIS,Mining. heavy projects,etc. as more which requires an important role of an a gelogist

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 39000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Here in the University of Mysore at Manasagangothri has provided fine academic system and fees structure, to register for the allotment first we need to pay a 5000 only here in the university .Then we paid the sem fee per year ,for one year it requirs 39000/- admission fee and as for the donation for geological association in the university we paid a 1000/- also.There weren't any other extra payments afterwards

Campus Life

Here the first program we had by depertment was a big workshop on the topic of ground water management. Which were so useful for our further studies. Now the upcoming programs are freshers andd its other programs. The campus environment is soo beautiful and there are many place to wxplore. As a green , eco friendly campus it is one of the best cental universities.

Admission

After degree i applied in many central universities by attending some entrance exams such as CUET,Aligarh University,etc.. and as my luck my grade wasnt enough . Then as the last college for admission closing was this Mysore university. This year student ratio reduced a little so the admission system was normal by allotment.

Faculty

In the first year batch of applied geology there are around 5 or more teachers in the class of 40 students. Our course is about 2 year program divided as 4 semesters. At the end of each sem there will be an exam to qualify the sem. With the help of the some good faculties we could pass the exam .????

Night Life

Here nightlife is not that much provided as in karanataka state the police patrol start at 10 o clock which is because of some incidents. So till then many students not might there only the hostelers might be there. After evening about 8 o clock we saty in campus with the friends and vibes

Our particular course dint had any placement drives. But now, from this year they do have for M.Sc. DAN students too. I think its a good move. Other culinary department students had 100% placements as claimed by the University. After getting degree i am interested in pursuing my Ph.D.

BU needs more Improvement

Placement Experience:

After 3rd sem, we are eligible for campus placements. There'll be job drive for around 1 week where we get to attend. Commerce students get more opportunities rather than Botany students but nevertheless we get to work in medical feilds depending on interviews
