Course Curriculum Overview

We have exams every month as our CT. Then we have model exams following with University exam. The college is very strict and serious about exams. And you have to have 75% to attend the exams otherwise the teachers will call your parents and stuff happens.

Placement Experience

After every month you will have workshop which will provide you a certificate that will definitely help you in your placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

No. I don't need loan at least at this point of time. As it is a very small amount as compared to other colleges and courses.

Campus Life

Campus life is really cheerful. The campus has lots and lots of food shops. We have a lake road. Where the view is really nice. It's full of flowers and stuff. You will surely get beautiful place everywhere to click pictures. I have only one word to describe this campus and it's Beautiful.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes of course. I have been friends to many senior students. They are all great and helpful. Obviously nobody can help you more than a senior when u are a fresher.

Admission

The admission for B.com was based on class 12th marks. For engineering they have SRMJEE. If you are a maths student and want to do B.com then u will get only B.com ISM as you don't have accounts and business studies as your subjects in class 12. Other than this you have got lots and lots of options for your UG course from BA to fashion designing to Hotel management.

Faculty

All the faculty members here are highly educated. All the teachers here had done their phds. Hence all of them have that "Dr." infront of their name. Dat makes the faculty of SRM as one of the best faculty among the nearby colleges and ofcourse among all the reputed college I know.

the college also organizes technical events, workshops, seminar, cultural, festivals and placement training programs with helps students enhance their practical knowledge
the campus has a diverse student community with a healthy and inclusive atmosphere.
the aspects I liked the most were support faculty, disciplined campus environment.

Dislikes

placement opportunities may be stronger for certain branches and others
Wi-Fi connectivity can be inconsistent in some area in the campus
parking facilities may becomes crowded during peak hours

Commerce cours has an entire building as we have five division in B.Com itself.
Seminars and industry people are called to guide us for placements and what all add ons do we need to learn to get a corporate job.
Our fests is too good as otherwise college gate closed at 5pm but during fests it last till 10 pm.

Dislikes

Dress code which is very wierd both for boys and girls.

Placement Experience:

P&G, Deloitte, KPMG, INTEL and many others have started taking interest in B.Com students as well. Placements though our of 400 it is still around like 100 odd students get placed from campus and with a salary of 30-40k around.

Colleges which I have applied for was Sree Ramachandra institute in tamil nadu, MGR University IISER But I only got confirmed admission from SRM by writing a medical entrance exam.
