Course Curriculum Overview

2

I found the course to be pretty outdated, doesn't prepare the students to match industry standards very focused on theory rather than practical real world applications Exams were conducted frequently exam difficulty was moderate The course could improve and better equip students and make them employable.

Internships Opportunities

1

Not many internship opportunities. If anyone wanted an internship, they had to go apply on internshala.com not many people did internships. There was no focus on internships, maybe one or two opportunities in the entirety of eight semesters.

Placement Experience

4

Placements Were surprisingly good. There was good support from placement officer, Mr. Vinod. I got placed into three companies , Accenture , Atos Syntel and CS . There is still great improvement to be made in teaching students employability, and meeting industry standards

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fees : 50,000 rupees per semester Total no of semesters : 8 Total fee paid - 8,00,000 rupees No scholarships or financial aid was available for my category . Fees is increasing every year . Not sure by what percentage

Campus Life

1

There were not many clubs . There was only toastmasters club and that too was removed after Covid . There were no game periods or any type of extra curricular activity no science fairs, no fests. Library too was pretty updated nothing except for course, textbooks were available There were no student run, social groups, clubs, or student portals student social life is zero.

Admission

I chose this college because it's an all girls engineering College. I only applied to this college and got accepted, did not apply to any other colleges. Students can qualify to enter this college by writing EAMCET or JEE Mains . Students can also enter and buy a seat on donation basis . Comparing to other colleges available in my area. I would rate this college of 5 out of 10 could greatly improve in areas of properly equipping college.

Faculty

3

low student to faculty ratio College was affiliated to JNTU Anantapur my batch was under R15 regulation we had two midterms per semester, one external lab, one internal lab and one external semester exams Exams are of moderate difficulty Aslam Sir is my favourite faculty. He was very kind and helpful. Faculty is generally approachable student to faculty relationship is good

Night Life

1

This was an all girls college college ended at 4 PM. No night life. No social life, not even a proper cafeteria. No place to hang out very boring, very strict. I don't know the hostel timings. I was not a hosteller. There are no places to hang out, let alone popular hangout spots

The students are eligible to be placed from semester 4-1 . The highest package goes around 24lpa and average is around 4lpa. The students have good chances for further education as they were provided good knowledge to go further and good reputation of the college for employability outside the placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The reason to choose comouter science course was it was most trending technology in the industry right now so most of the students likely to join the computer science course .Our curriculum contains better subjects which help to deal with real life problems. Most of the lectures use ppt to explain the concepts in pictorial way to make ease understanding to the students. But main drawback was they were more focused on the therotical part I suggest them to explain them in practical methods also like teaching the coding in the labs not just theory part .Our mid exams contains 2 hours of time to write where our semester exams contaions 180 minutes to complete the exam. The exam level was quite modetate not much hard nor easy to give the test if we study properly.
