Course Curriculum Overview

5

The curriculum is always state-of-art and different than other MCA colleges I have come a crossed. The curriculum is highly practical, non-redundant maintaining linkages with basic and advanced courses. Further, there are research and skill-based electives that ultimately led to employability and entrepreneurship. Projects and Dissertations are rich sources of student development and truly this has helped a lot in transforming me to a professional ready to upgrade myself with the changing trends.

Placement Experience

5

This being the core of any college. The existence of this college is now going to be 2 decades. The college has a dedicated team of Placement along with Student Development Cell that plans and strives to groom and transform the students’ right from the time he or she takes admissions. The cell organizes and conducts expert sessions on technical and non-technical aspects that include soft skills, CV making, mock interviews, spiritual aspects and self-development through meditation and relaxation. The institute invites a horde of companies every year from varying geographical locations. The placement season starts right from June and by November almost all the students get placed and start their internships or projects by December. The cell also motivates students to participate in national internship schemes like Internshala and other schemes percolated by educational apex bodies.

College Events

5

The number of events is it co-curricular and extra-curricular are organized with specific technical or social objectives. Dev-Ops Day, Software Engineering Day, Poster and Model Presentations, TechFest, ITMania, Gyaney, etc for sharing and demonstrating knowledge. Patriotism aspects are shredded through the celebration of Independence and Republic Day, Social Service based annual functions, Swachch Pakhwada and Abhiyan related events, Women's’ Day, etc. through literary competitions. Singing, dancing based on folk, Janmashtami, Navratri, and associated events like Clay molding, Paper Crafts, Best out of Waste, Mehendi, etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I had studied Ph.D. But I know the fees of MCA is currently around 35000. This fee is spread over to include tuition fees, enrolment fees, etc. I know there is a book bank facility for students to avail textbooks and reference for the semester they are in.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is a B.U.Patel Scholarship Scheme that is released every year to help deprived students with good academic records. But I have not opted for the same as was not in need, but many of my friends have availed it.

Campus Life

5

The campus is vibrant all the time. Equal ratio and opportunities to both the genders are facilitated. Extracurricular activities like youth festival, Navratri, sports week, inter-college tournaments, social service, theatre events, etc are organized that bring all together and give equal opportunity to showcase their talents and these events are resourceful and full of knowledge gaining.

Alumni/Alumna

The institute has a strong alumni network. The alumni pay back gratitude to their Alma matter by being a part in curriculum recommendations, training, and development of junior students, placements, talks, etc.

Admission

I secured admission for Ph.D. in this college. The college adheres to a systematic and clear admission process that starts from May-June. For MCA they follow ACPC norms and eligibility criteria for same. Admission notice is available online. All related information is displayed on the web

Faculty

5

The staff members are highly skilled, always keeping themselves intact with the current trends. The teaching and learning process is very interesting as there are various active learning and peer learning methodologies adopted keeping the student at the focus. ICT based teaching aids, a variety of teaching methodologies like chalk-talk, audio-video based learning, practical-hands-on, and quiz and role-plays, demonstrations, etc. are part and parcel of their classroom teaching. The examples they share are of current natures. They truly encourage us not to be limited to remembering and understanding but enhance our thinking and visualization capabilities through the right proportion of dynamics.
