Course Curriculum Overview
When I first visited the college at that time the counsilor made me convince to this course I don't know how but she did it. There is nothing like real world teaching, they just teach you from the books and that's it. I think the method is currect but some professor are not taking their job seriously. Exams are taken every semester and one before the semester and viva and also prectical exams by external faculties.
Internships Opportunities
I'm intern by myself. i joined a company with myself, if you ask for internship they help you to reach out the company. I have worked on my own project like my portfolio and made two other projects one is text editor and second is news webapp.
Placement Experience
There are placement available but experienced people are saying that they sends you in the waiting list but never calls and if they call you then they make contract of 11 months and then you know... From the second semester you are eligible for campus placements. There are many companies who came but not made an offer but I'm not allowed to tell you that. Around 40-50% are getting placed. I'm currently interen at Meetanshi so I'm planning to join them in future.
Fees and Financial Aid
I have joined this course in 2023 which was the first year of MCA batch in this university. I was told by counsilor that fees are 65000 Rs. For normal batch but when I completed first semester then they just increased it by 5000 Rs. Out of nowhere. And also some extra fees for Enrollment number and examination fees are around total 4000 Rs. Per year. All the government scholarship are available in this university. You can claim any of them if you're eligible for that scholarship. This is the first batch of MCA in this university for normal idea about placement reality.
Campus Life
There are too many fastival. One annual function, Rasmanjari in Navratri, Techmanjari as technical event, Khelmanjari as sports event, and many more. Library are currently open but it's their starting so books are not available often but if you tell tem then they provide you. As per i said there are sports activities and playground, mostly all games are available. Inter campus compilation, and other outer compilation are played. There are too low social group and clubs.
Admission
You need minimum 50% in bachelors. You can apply online or from the receptionist at GMIU. Yes reservations are available but I was not eligible for that so I don't have idea about that. Exams are normal not too hard not too easy, means you have to study if you want to pass if you're going to have a fun then your not gonna pass the exams. Admission process are fine but I would suggest that make clear things and make sure you have proof what they said.
Faculty
Some faculty members are too good and friendly but some of them just come and give lacture and just go. Faculty is highly qualified but not experienced. We can talk with professors whenever we want unless they are free. And the main thing it there are some politics in the college so you can't focus on your studies.
