Shardarani Rameshchander Luthra Institute of Management (SRLIM) is an institute managed by Sarvajanik Education Society and was established with a mission to improve the quality of education in South Gujarat region. Infrastructure: The Classrooms and Seminar Halls are large, spacious and well-provided with all the latest technology such as projectors, TV, VCR, etc. The accommodation facility is also available, separately for boys and girls in the common hostels of Sarvajanik Education Society. Final year students are also taken on industrial visits to provide them exposure to the business environment. The Institute has a very efficient faculty which is trained to produce entrepreneurs of the future society.

Library: The College library has a great collection of books, magazines, journals which is a great helping hand to the students. The total number of books is 14,680 and apart from this, 30 journals & 7 newspapers have been subscribed. Sources of E-knowledge are also provided such as online journals. CDs and Video Cassettes are also available.
Laboratory: A well-equipped computer lab has been provided which has 120 computers with up-to-date software, 12 printers and internet access throughout the day.

Placement: Full Placement support is provided to the students and topmost companies of India visit the Institute and abroad. The prominent ones include Axis Bank, Aviva Life Insurance, SBI Chartered Bank, Standard Chartered, etc.

My college review

Admission:

I gave CMAT exam, applied to the S. R. Luthra Institute of Management and the reason was I want to study in Surat and the city, SRLIM is one of the good institutes. The trusted name for the quality of education and also for placements. I am not falling under any category, so I am not eligible for a quota. Minimum criteria are the completion of graduation in any field, and CMAT or CAT is a must as such no such minimum marks are fixed in number it is marit base score which varies every year. The admission process was quite simple. After CMAT we need to follow the instruction on the ACPC website. It is managing the system centrally. We can select the college of our choice and as I get selection I went there and filled the application form with supporting documents and I got confirmation in 2 days and got an appointment for counselling.

Admission:

The admission Process was Good, We need to apply from the Website after completing CMAT, ACPC will manage as per our score in the exam. In our college we had two shifts so, we can apply for another after giving application form. I was falling under the quota of OBC so, after submitting documents it was approved. Admission criteria are standard as per university. I went to college give code details given to me on ACPC, My counseling was done and I got admission.

I have only applied for SR LUTHRA INSTITUTE Of Management, cause it's one of the best call in Surat & the areas surrounding to it. With regards to studies, Faculties, Education & most importantly Placement, The Admission criteria is based on the basis of CMAT score & secondly on the basis of a number of seats available, adding to it the admissions process was all good & was in a great flow.

Admission:

The admission process is quite easy. We need to complete the CMAT exam and then through threw portal if we score as per the requirement of that year we need to fill the form and through threw system we get college admission. We need to go there, fill-up the form of application. Then college asks to come on a day when we have a counseling session, they inform about how college is working, the system, values, placement, opportunities, and ask about our intrest in going to college. Will it is comfortable to sit for long 8 hours, we need to be ready to prepare hard for placement also. In which particular stream of management attracts us most(Hr, Finance, Marketing) and as we agree we are good to go with admissions. For exams university used to inform well in advance, the course was completed 100%, internal papers were also similar to board papers, everything is very systematic and managed well.

SR Luthra Institute of Management does not accept CMAT score to offer admission to MBA program. You will require a valid score in Gujrat ACPC exam to get admission.
