Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum that influenced me as there are subjects that are purely related to the course I took and also have entrepreneurship courses as well. Yeah the curriculum is pretty good that we prepare for the future opportunities and gives us knowledge about how this course help us and what we can choose. The improvements that has to be done are the laboratories as we don't have much resources yeah but nothing much . The examination timings are good enough for me from my perspective as we have enough time to read and write and the only problem is the mid semester timings only 1 hour they provide , we students atleast expect to have half an hour extra .

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure of college is 99000 per year and we have to pay fee for the examination per semester 8700, and the faculty are very talented and good we get lots of knowledge and they give us good guidance and very much knowledge about the subject and depth of the subject. Also we have great facilities and they also provide scholarships for the students who are ecomically suffering and we also have grate oportunity in attending several study related conference and webinars .

Campus Life

3

We have an yearly programme conducted by the college called jeevam which includes the concept of panchabutha and all the course people joins us we will be having inter college compititions and also sports competitions. Also the library has good access of books related to the nutrition. They conduct student run social groups as a part of practical experience.

Admission

I have applied to many colleges as per my course requirements. Also I got 3 colleges approval for the application which this college is one of them. The main purpose that I accepted this college is the the course outcomes are pretty much good. There are no colleges that rejected me as I applied only to 3 to 5 colleges. The process of admission was started with a small application form online then we directly went to the enrollment and they took a small interview and we want to pay the fee as and got an admission in this collaboration. Most of the students prefer cuet examination for this course particularly.

Faculty

4

The faculty we have particularly in our course is 12 and the students in my class is 113. But every faculty are quite approachable as we students have been decided and has been under mentorship for the purpose of guidance and overall academic participation. Also there are faculty who I like first is my mentor pallavi mam she guides me well and second is reshma mam she is one of the subject faculty as she explains the topic very well and sushma mam she is very talented and provide good information. There are faculty who I don't like as they give more assignments and more stress. Also coming to the exams there will be two mid semester exams and internal practicals and final semester exams also the mid semester is a bit easy but the final examination is unpredictable it might be hard and sometimes easy as well.

Night Life

3

There are many hangout spots near by like cafes and restaurants but there are no gyms near by and they will be closed at 8 or 8:30pm . And the I stay in the pg near to college, the pg will get closed by 9:00pm in the night and the college starts at 9:00am and ends at 5:00pm. The locality is quite same and we have a mess nearby and a fastfood centre also not much options around the college. We have a canteen inside the college that only provide snacks like chips, icecream and beverages like coffee, and carbonated drinks.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I liked this biotechnology course in degree(Bsc) and i wanted to continue this course with higher studies. Hence this university is reputed one in Karnataka.. i choose this one and I got the seat and I am very happy for this. The teaching methods are really good but it depends on particular lecturers, how they teach .. For main sem exam the time was around 3 hours for 70 marks and it was moderate and can be manageable
