Course Curriculum Overview

5

The main reason for me to choose this college for my course Nutrition and Dietetics was the education provided here. This college is best known for it's education and I wanted to pursue my masters in a college like this which was reputed well with NAAC grades too. One more reason for me to choose the college for my course was our college also has it's own hospital and we have a tie up between our college and hospital. So along with textbook knowledge we are able to get practical knowledge too by going to hospital. This is very important in shaping our future to the students who are going to pursue their career in clinical side. So this is why I've chosen this college for my masters degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fees for first year MSc Nutrition and Dietetics is 99000 for us whereas it changes for Second year that is the fees for Second year is 88000 for us. The fee structure is simple as we can pay the total fees at once or we can also pay partial amount of the fees. This is helpful for the students who are financially not very stable they can pay partially before the Semester end examinations.

Campus Life

There are many fests conducted by our college for all the departments. One such fest is Jeevam Fest which is celebrated annually by all the departments. There are also many fests which are celebrated within the departments itself. The Jeevam Fest is celebrated for 10 days which also includes sports meet and cultural activities. The last day is celebrated as a traditional day in which we need to dress in traditional outfits.

Admission

I wanted to pursue my masters in a reputed top college because it was helpful for my career. And then I got to know about JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research. I got to know about it's NAAC grades and it was a reputed college in the Royal City Mysore. The process of applying in this college is not so complicated. First one should go and search the college in google and then apply for admissions then we can select the courses offered by the college then after clicking on our desired course we need to fill the details of our 10th board marks scored by us and then 12th board marks sheet we need to upload and then our bachelors degree mark sheet and we need to upload in the site. There is 1000 rs registration fees we need to pay and then submit our details. Within one week we will get mail if we get admission.

Faculty

The lecturers over here are very good and highly educated. They provide us the right education and helps us to understand and learn the concept very clearly. They are more like a guide to us than a teacher. Coming to the exams part there are internals and also mid semester exams and then we also have lab practicals then we have final semester examinations and then we also have our final practical examinations. We get a plenty of time in between examinations so that we can thoroughly prepare for the next examination.

Night Life

5

Our college is very much safe and even the locality is very much safe in the night time too. There are also many small small cafés around our college which provide tasty snacks and foods. There are no gyms around the college but it has cafés and hangout places to go with your friends. The locality is very much safe to roam even in the night times but this is another thing that the shops won't be open till late night they get closed early in the night times so it becomes peaceful. One can safely leave the college in the late evening or night time also because it is safe and the locality is very much trusted.
