The campus will provide you with companies to complete your intership even foreign ones. The interships takes place in the third semester

Placement Experience

4

Students start their placement journey from the first semester itself. The faculty prepare us for placements from the first semester by providing placement training and other classes. The actual placement may begin from the second or third semester. The average packages are around 5 lakhs to 7 lakhs annually. The highest package is 50 lakhs annually and lowest is 3 lakhs annually. The percentage of students placed is 75 percent last year. I plan to get placed from the college that provides a decent package in a reputed company.

The first semester fees is 170000 and 30000 is registeration fees. Along with uniform and stationary fees the first sem fees becomes 210000. The second semester fees is 170000. Third semester is 178000 and last semester is 150000

Campus Life

5

There are a lot of cultural activities that happen in the campus like tech fests dance competitions sports meets management fests vehicle expo that are held throughout the year. The biggest fest is called acharya habba which happens in the month of may that attracts the whole college and is conducted by all departments and is like a festival for the students. There are a lot of clubs inside the college where the students can get together and discuss their hobbies and also perform them. Some clubs are theatre club music club vehicle club ets. The social life inside acharya is one of the main attractions of the campus. It provides the students with opportunities to showcase their talents and perform their hobbies in front of a wider audience. The sports meets provided by the college allows the students to perform and compete against students from all backgrounds and improve the skills in ones sports. There are regular cricket and football tournaments conducted inside the campus as well as regular inter department sports meets that improves the teamwork of ones department.

Admission

I only applied and wanted to join acharya institute of technology because of the huge campus and the facilities that it provide. The campus is known for good placements and excellent cultural programmes that enables a good studying environment. The campus is filled with students who come from all sorts of backgrounds and places even foreigners and this makes the campus a diverse place to study and make new friends. The admission process was simple and very easy. I applied online and got accepted and paid the fees then completed my documentation and i was enrolled into the campus.

Faculty

4

The faculty is very experienced and friendly towards all students. They prefer a method of teaching that is effective and useful in the practical world and market. The HOD of MBA department is a very energetic and approachable person who values the overall improvement of a students qualities and makes them ready for the jobs in the real world. Exams are conducted frequently to test the students and prepare them for the main university exams and improve knowledge.

Night Life

5

Night life inside acharya is absolutely beautiful with lots of lights and artworks that make the campus a beauty at night. There are a lot of hangout spots where you can enjoy the peaceful night with your friends and have the time of your lives inside the campus like the library the gym or the stadium. Music bands often perform at night which is an attraction for the students and provide a was of releasing stress. The gym inside the campus is equipped with all machineries including cardio and boxing that enables the students to be fit and healthy. The gym is open till ten at night. The Library is a great spot to increase the knowledge and spend time reading and doing research. The one downside the night life in acharya is the amount of stray dogs inside the campus. Even though the dogs are friendly sometimes they scare you and is not that great experience. The hostel closes at 7:30 or 8 pm. The campus is open till 10 or if there are events happening inside then the time may vary.

The placements at IIMB are among the top in country. Companies across various domains like Consulting, Investment Banking, IT, Supply Chain, Sales & Marketing take part in the campus placements. Placements take place 2 times one - summer internships for 1st years and the final placement for 2nd year students. IIMB has a stellar placement profile with 100% students getting placed in a record 3 days period with an average package of INR 30 lakhs+. My plan after getting MBA degree is get placed in a good company where I can utilize the skills learned here on real life problems.
