An Insider's Perspective on IIBS Bangalore

PGDM is more practical oriented compared to traditonal MBA. PGDM from IIBS prepares us for business world in more practical way because in IIBS every week they conduct an guest lectures regarding trending topics from the market which helps us being prepared to tackle real world business challenges. Area for improvements needed in teaching methods they should stop teaching theory or only conducting classes or lectures they shoud give us real world business challenges & problems to solve they can teach us in a better way by coducting industrial visits for us. The last i gave it was internal exam DTE 1 the timing of the exam was 1:30 hrs bus think this time is not enought they should give atleast 2 hours.

It's been only three months i am here so i don's have more descriptive knowledge about innterships but as per the reviews I've got from seniors and faculties almost every student gets good internship. 100% students gets internships.

After 1st year students get eligible for placement. Cognizant,Capgemini,Axis Bank,IBM etc visit to campus and offer decnt amount of package dependin on job roles. Highest package was 59 LPA ,Average is 7-8 LPA 80-90% students gets placed. My plan after degree is to get job gain some practical knowledge and after 5 years I'll start my own business.

Social Life: Students are from many states all over the India,so campus is diverse and friendly. Ther are cultural fests, festival celebrations, and networking events with seniors and alumni. Clubs: Functional clubs(finance,marketing,HR), event committees, and some cultural/sports groups. Activities depend on how active students are- good if you participate. Infrastructure: Smart classrooms, library, computer labs, Wi-Fi, decent hostel with mess, but canteen variety is limited, Sports facilities and campus size are modest.

Hostel facilities of good at IIBS food is good and Wi-Fi facility is provided good water and geyser facility is also provided rooms are in flat type like 1 BHK flat bed and almirah is provided by the college hostel is value for money they charge 10,000 per month according to that facilities they provide are value for money

I've choosen this college for PGDM program because of its excellent reputation and strong industry connections. I've done my research and read numerous positive reviews from alumni and current students, which speaks to the college's commitment to academic excellence and student satisfaction. Admission process was quite simple first they took personal interview next was the HR round after that i was selected

The faculties are very friendly and helpful to the students DrS Balaji sir, is the best faculty in campus because of his behaviour, knowledge, and because of personal advices he gives to us regarding studies life etc Till now i have only given one internal which was quite moderate niether hard nor easy

There was no group dicussion done for the admission only PI, HR round was there which was decent. Criteria for admission is student must have to be attempted any entrance exam like CAT, MAT. If student is in final year and have'nt got thier final semester degree initially they can also get admission as an appearing student but later they will have to provide these thing to the college

Gyms are nearby the college and hostel Campus timing is 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM Hostel timing is 9:30 PM after that you are not allowed to go out There are no famous or any good hangout places nearby for decent night life or decent places to hangout you'll have to travel to Yelahanka or Bagluru
