Likes

The most loveable thing is that CU culture is so diverse, students come from different states but there is very less language problem , students are very cooperative and having helping nature.
Campus is large and clean with lots of beautiful plants and trees along with sitting place like parks , cafes and here is the place where I enjoyed a lot
Each block has library you can go anywhere you want to go in any block.

Dislikes

Worst thing is people of this area like in pg they charge high amount from students and mess or tiffin services are on peak , they are so rude.
They boast that the campus is smoke free. But u will find students smoking just 50 metre away from the campus.There is a shop where all the smokers group assemble daily.
Mess food is so unhygienic they only have character for earning from students but not with their good services, mostly are so rude

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fee for a three-year BBA course at CU ranges from INR 1.2 lakh to INR 3 lakh. Hostel fee In addition to tuition, students may also need to pay a hostel fee. For example, my hostel fee for the BBA in Business Analytics course is INR 3,20,000. Examination and Security fee Students may also need to pay a deposit of INR 2,000 for Examination and Security fees. Scholarships Chandigarh University offers scholarships based on the marks obtained in the CUCET exam. For example, in CUCET Phase I, students who score 90.01 or above receive a 100% scholarship, while students who score 80 to 90.00 receive a 50% scholarship. To be eligible for admission to a BBA program in India, candidates must: Have passed 10+2 from a recognized board or school Be between the ages of 17 to 25 CUCET Application Form, Entrance Exam, Online Registration form Some other scholarship are also available for economic weaker sections students EWS category.

The campus life is very exciting and vibrant with numerous opportunities to blend our academics, culture, extracurricular activities and have fun while learning. Campus Life is good as well as infrastructure is good with other facilities also like parks, cafe's, stationary shop, Teachers are just like in every other college. A lot of them are very friendly and young. Chandigarh University encourages its students to actively engage in countless cultural events. Chandigarh University provides numerous opportunities for students to participate in various activities, becoming future leaders and demonstrating their skills by participating actively in classes as well as by gaining good leadership skills and confidence.

Admission

I come to know about this college from my friends that it's placement offer is best , top MNC offers students for job . Because of cu highly accomplished teachers in this specific profession, I chose to attend Chandigarh university to pursue a Bachelor' degree in BBA. I've had a strong passion for this subject for a while, and I'm eager to learn from the teachers who have created such a fantastic programme.

Faculty

College faculty are so helpful and polite in nature, they understand students in all perspective. The faculty - students ratio is good in university. Some are inexperienced but they are very cooperative and having helping nature. Like I was at my home and I didn't submitted my original migration of 12th and some other documents and it was last date, I contacted one registrar sir that please help me out I had to pay amount in cash , he helped me a lot. He was assistant registrar sir. I liked his moral behaviour and as I was stranger for him but then also he helped me for the sake of humanity only. Talking about exams , there was 2 semester exams per year and 4 monthly test . Semester examination was of 80 marks and monthly was of 40 marks .

Night Life

lamrin tech skills university offers guaranteed placements. for an engineering student, the placement goes for 5 to 10 lacks per annum. in 3rd year, students are elligiable for placements. companies like TATA, IBM are major recruiters. 70-80% of students gets placement last year. i am going to persue MBA after BBA

Life at Chandigarh University A CSE Student

As a BE Computer Science student, I chose Chandigarh University after comparing it with a few other colleges like LPU, Chitkara University and some state colleges. I actually got confirmed admission from LPU and Chitkara as well, but I preferred Chandigarh University mainly because of its placement record and scholarship opportunities. One major reason was the CUCET scholarship exam. I scored decent marks in it and got a fee concession, which made the overall cost lower compared to other private universities. Also, I found that Chandigarh University offers more exposure in terms of coding events, hackathons and industry tie ups. When I compared it with LPU, both were similar, but CU felt slightly better in placements. Chitkara had a smaller campus and less diversity of students, so I did not choose it. I also tried for a government college through JEE, but my rank was not good enough to get CSE in a top government college. That is where things did not work out, so I decided to go with a private university. The admission process of Chandigarh University is quite simple. You need at least 50 percent marks in 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Maths. Most students give the CUCET exam because it helps in getting scholarships. JEE Main score is also accepted but not necessary. There is no very high cutoff, admission is mostly based on eligibility and seat availability. Overall, my admission experience was smooth and quick. Four Years of Growth , Grit and Glory

I had given the exam of CUET for the Delhi University but i was not able to clear the cutoff meanwhile the same time Chandigarh University approached me , I got multiple calls from the University and i have some of my peers studying in the same University so , I decided to discuss it with my parents and they also agreed to send me to Chandigarh University . While I completed my 12 th after that I was preparing for JEE and my focus was to clear JEE examination at the same time my friends told me to fill the form for the CUET exam so ,I filled that , but didn't had a good result as I was not much interested in going to that University . I my University the admission process is very simple if you are a new comer you have to apply for the admission form and then a CUCET test is then fiinalzed on a date you have to give the exam for availing the scolarship , if you don't want to that you can directly visit the university and there they will initiate all the process . For admission in a Btech in computer science you must 65 % or higher in your 12 th and you must havve opted non med in your 12 th . The overall admission process is very smooth as it take merely half an hour to register and there is also no need to give the full amount of money at once you can pay the fee in part payments . University also allows the students and their parents to first visit the university have a look and then decide what they wanted to do ....Read More

the ultimate Chandigarh University

I wanted to come to this college because of the college life. the college life is good, no doubt but it is strict and there is pressure in semster days which I didn't knew earlier. I already got admiited to this college before my government counselling of other colleges are done. And somewhere i was happy because this college is good to be in and enjoy. The admission process is simple, you apply for the CUCET exam, if you clear it you are in and also provided scholarship based on the score. After that you pay the fees and join the classes. An insightful review of L.L.B program at CU

I choose Chandigarh University for the LLB program mainly because of its structured circular infrastructure and comparatively smoother admission process, I had also explored a few other private universities and colleges offering law courses but see you provided better campus facility, library resources and exposure through seminar and activities. In comparison, with other colleges, I applied to Chandigarh University offered a Ball combination of academic and extracurricular opportunities. Some other institutions had structure cut-offs or Limited seats. While you had a transparent and student friendly admission system.
