Course Curriculum Overview

4

Btech Printing Technology is a pretty lucartive side of the engineering industry. The avg packages here are about 5lac pa. The curriculam is literaly how to use the the printing machines and the after printing practices and pre-printing practices. The pre printing practices includes the use of computer application and graphics. The after printing includes the cutting and packaging of the printed material. The exams are pretty easy as the curriculam is practical and easy to get into. The question papers are made by the faculty itself and checked by itself. So you get the idea of how it works here.

Internships Opportunities

4

For my department students go for their internships around their 5th semester. for my dept danik bhaskar is go to place as they offer around 3 month internship and pays a stipend of around 10k per month.

Placement Experience

4

The last year or the 7th semester is where one can expect to be placed in the companies. Here many companies comes like Amul, inforsys, motherdiary, classmate, Danik Bhasakar for the recruitment to thier company. The avg package here is about 5lac pa and the highest that has been offered is 12 lpa in 2023. About 95% of the students gets placed here.

Fees and Financial Aid

For my course of Btech Printing Technology, i have to pay a sum of about 70k each year, during the end month of each semester i have to pay half of that 70k. The fees for General Category, OBCs, EWS are the same and as well as the students coming from other states are also considerd General category here. But the fees for SC/ST students is less if the student's annual income is less than 2.5lac, he/she has to pay only about 5k each semester instead of the 35k. Also there is another category called TFW, which stands for Tution Fees Wavior, in this category the admitted student only have to pay about 18k instead of 35k each semester. Talking about reservation, Here seats are reserved for categories like the Backward class (in haryana the obc are divided into two blocks, BC-A and BC-B), Scheduled Castes and Schedules Tribe, Economically Weaker Sections(EWS), Kashmiri Migrants, Wards of Freedom Fighters/ Ex-service Man. Talking about the Scholarships, here in this university, as it is a State Goverment University, The students who are admitted in the university in reserved category are applicable to apply for HAR-CHHATARAVRATTI scholarship offered by the goverment of haryana's education department. This scholarship is only given to SC/BC/WARDS OF ESM students that meet their criteria. The criteria mainly revolves around the net annual family income of the has to be less than 2.5lpa to avail this benefit. Also SC students are given funds for books by haryana govt. To avail this scholarship the student has to fill the form online on the haryana govt site and then take out the print of that form to get is attested from the concerned university department and submitt it to the department. This has to be done each semester to get the scholarship. In order to keep te scholarship the student has to maintain 75% attenedance and maintain a good cgpa/ pass in all subjects. University also has its own program that offers scholarship to 100 students each year.

Campus Life

2

Here many cultural festivals are held that mainly focueses arount haryana's culture and its rituals. The library here is would say to be the biggest library in haryana. The classes are pretty old styled with yellow cieling fans no smarboard or acs.

Admission

The course of Btech Printing Technology is only available in this univerity in haryana. No ther univeristy or college offer this course in haryana. Even if some offer they only offers the diplomas in this field.

Faculty

3

There are about 60 students in nearly every class, whether it be engineering class, arts class, commerce classes or vocational courses. Also about 1/3 of the staff is actual regualar employes of the university. Other 1/3 are contractutal employees and last 1/3 are HKRN employees which stands for HARYANA KAUSHAL ROZGAR NIGAM. It is a dept of hayana govt that provides temporary govt jobs in departments where there are vacancies available. A problerm with these HKRN employees is that they are selected purely on the basis of their academic qualifications and income basis. These employees are not required to go under any selection examinations or interview rounds. Also there is corruption here in the state of haryana for the jobs of HKRN as these are not exam based or interview based, one has to just fill the online HKRN form and bribe and middlemen who can get his name on the final list of employement list. About 1 year and 3 months into this course, i can confidently say that i didnt liked any of the faculty i have met or taught by . There are about 5-6 written examinations each semester and about 3 practical examinations too. The practical exams are easy as the external faculty are pretty chill and dont ask for any actual practicals all they ask are some basic questions and sometimes they ask where you from or what does your family do.

Night Life

3

The nightlife for girls doesn't exist as they are not allowed to exit allowed afet 7;30 pm and for the boys they can go in or out of the university anytime. The shops here close around 8pm , so the students order their foods online.

Still it is new college you know that there is no certain records of placement. I am from 2nd batch of this college. But I would say it will provide enough good packages. In 2nd year you have to sit for internship as per the curriculum of this college. so out of 107 seniors, 85 students grabbed intership from the 2nd year. We hope we also be able to grab internship in 3rd year.

Almost 90 percent of the companies start taking placement colleges from the 7th semester onwards or till the end of the 8th semester in which all the students are placed. And if any student still remains, he applies for off-campus placement, then he also gets placed easily.

Don't join the college as they doesn't care about your career Faculty is bad and also doesn't have minimum experience and qualifications Teachers will change every semester or even teachers can leave the job in mid semester. If want a good career then don't go for it
