Likes

The college campus is quite nature based .
The classrooms are also big and air conditioned.
There are smart tvs too in the classes .

Dislikes

The crowd of the college is not good and not disciplined.
There should be more space for parking of the cars.
There are frequent power cut in the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course which i am pursuing right now is good. Currently i am in 1st year so i cant perfectly specify the curriculum but overall till now its going good. They train us with frequent exams. And it helps.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 100000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Initially the fees was 90000. But they increased the fees without knowing. Overall the scholarship management is good and they filled tge forms of it in college itself asking individual student so thats good

Campus Life

The college campus is nature based and the surrounding of the college is quite peaceful. The college hostels are also safe for the students . So the campus is good to come. We can feel the fresh air in this college.

Admission

This college was referred by my many relatives as there kid too were in this college and got good placements from this college . The admission process was also smooth and the faculty was also very helpful .

Faculty

The faculty of the college is good and interactive too. They provide us woth beneficial knowledge. There are many exam sessions in the college that helps for our end semesters. There are various courses.

Night Life

I am local of pune so i dont know the night life of college. But some of my friends stay in the hostel of the college . They said the food is good of the college and its very peaceful in the cold environment.

the course is fairly relevant and covers the fundamentals required in the Field of CSEDS . the curriculum helps students build basic knowledge that can support both industry career and higher studies. the exam structure generally includes internal assessments, assignments and end sem examinations, the frequency is manageable.

7 and 8 th sem students are eligible for placement .the college have less placement . tje companies for civil toranto,l&t,godrej,adani etc were come to campus highest package is around 10 lakh and average were 5 lakh 15-20 % students are placed i want to do mtech from a good college like iits or want to jion german colleges

Overall review of my college life in VIT Pune

Placement Experience:

The Training Placement Office Logins are given to us in the third year of the college where alot of companies gives opportunities to apply for the said job role or internship. Approximately 5 to 10 companies visits are there every month which increases as you enter your final year of college.

After 1st year student can openly apply for internship, theon campus internship is avaliable after 4th Sem. The highest amount goes to Quant Finance and more than 75% gets placed for in-campus. The highest pakacemet was INR 3cr for the Quant profile.

Placement Experience:

From the 6th semester the students are eligible for campus placements. Many companies visit this college like Infosys, Calfus , Amazon , UBS, Crowdstrike. In case of no campus placements, one can try research internship offered by college.

My experience at VIT pune

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to apply for placement is after 2 year or at 5th semester. And companies that have visited are Morgan Stanley, TCS, JP Morgan, etc. and many others. Basic package is about 7 lacs per annum which I consider as okay for freshers. And the student which got highest is 26 lac per annum as he was one of the brightest student of the college. I think 50 to 60 percent students get placed more or less maximum are low package students. My plans are different than doing job so not applied at any of the job.

Students are eligible for placement from the third year itself for ppo and so. There are several companies visiting thakur around the year and there are a lot who get placement off campus too. I have heard a student from comps got into google at 72lpa. you can visit the tnp site for more detail.

Placement Experience:

placements are pretty decent here, especially for comp/it students. The average package here is around 12 to 14lakh, college provide on campus placements too, our placement cell is pretty hardworking. almost 97 to 99% of students get placed here.

It provided a good balance between academics, infrastructure and affordibility Thats why i had decide to take admission in this college. The college is associated with the well regarded savitribai phule pune university (SPPU) in maharashtra. I didnt apply for any other college beacause i just want to take admission in this college. So there no spcae for rejections from other college. The admission process is conducted through centralized admssion process (CAP) by government of maharahtra. For 10 + 2, students need to appear for MHT - CET, from that students are eligible for various colleges. For 10 + Diploma, there is no cet, admission process is based on their diploma marks. The admission process is very simple and easy that would let anyone easily take the admission in the college if all the required documents are ready with the candidate during admission.
