Course Curriculum Overview

4

So this course covers almost all of the key areas in mechanical engineering and provides a good theoretical knowledge base. A major factor in my choice mechanical couses like manufacturing processes, machine design, and thermodynamics. Design software like AutoCAD and ansys are included in the curriculum, which has added usefulness. The foundation are well covered, the curriculum lacks current material about industry practices such as industry 4.0, 3D printing and IoT.

Internships Opportunities

4

Companies like wipro, infosys, capgemini provides internship opportunities to students. Roles like analyzer, opearotor, supervisor can be offered. Stipend can rages from 15k to 20k as per performance.

Placement Experience

4

At this college students are eligible for campus placements starting in their seventh semester. TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, Infosys and Tech Mahindra, among others, come to campus to offer students placements for software, support and core mechanical profiles. The highest package offered is about 12LPA and average package offered is about 5 to 6 LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

So, First of all I was eligible for Economically Backward Class (EBC) Scholarship which is given by the Government of Maharahtra to students whose annual income is under Rs. 8 lakhs and those who domecile of maharahtra means, got 50% concession in Tuition Fees and Examination Fees. So, The year wise fees i paid are, Category - Open EBC Tuition Fees - 39022 Development Fees - 10457 University Fees - 190 Total - 49669

Campus Life

4

The campus life at this college is thriving, with events such as spark and techno fest taking place in Feb-March. The library has decent access to books and journals, and class rooms have projectors and internet facility. There are sports, events and student associations that students can take part in, which encourages learning and self-development as well.

Admission

It provided a good balance between academics, infrastructure and affordibility Thats why i had decide to take admission in this college. The college is associated with the well regarded savitribai phule pune university (SPPU) in maharashtra. I didnt apply for any other college beacause i just want to take admission in this college. So there no spcae for rejections from other college. The admission process is conducted through centralized admssion process (CAP) by government of maharahtra. For 10 + 2, students need to appear for MHT - CET, from that students are eligible for various colleges. For 10 + Diploma, there is no cet, admission process is based on their diploma marks. The CAP is transparent and online. once alloted, document verification is done at the college.

Faculty

5

The faculty to student ratio at this college is 1:30, means there is 1 faculty for every 30 students. As i said all the faculties in this college are very supportive and friendly. So every faculty takes an effort to teach each and every student properly so need not to worry about your studies. so some faculties i liked the most in teaching are, Mr. Pawar Sir Mr. Khapre Sir Mr. Karande Sir The teaching method of above faculties are very unique and simple, Everyone can easily understand what they are teaching. They are very friendly and supportive too. There is no faculties which i didnt like all the faculties are good. Exam structure for our course is 30 Marks for insem and 70 marks for endsme. Both insem and endsem are theory written examination. Students need to achive qualifying marks to pass the semester. and other marks is for term work like practicals, orals, mini projects, etc. See, Exams are easy when we do studies seriously and attend all the lectures, if we attened all the lectures, study neatly then and then we can qualify our exam.

Night Life

4

Nightlife around campus is pretty much subdued with a few options. Gym, library, and cafeteria all closes around 9.30 PM. Students typically hang out at a few nearby tea stalls and cafes. The area is safe, and you will often see students just going foa casual walk in the area or having little chats with other students at the hostel to chill out at night.
