One of best college for b.tech

Btech course is similar to other universities. As it is autonomous college everything depends on faculty whether they want to teach or not. if u want to pass the semester 1-night study is enough but if u want to gain knowledge then u have to work hard on your own.

Placements are ok. Cs students are almost 95 %placed with an average package of 9 lakhs per annum. Ec, ee have average package around 7 to 8 lakh with 80% placement mechanical also have placement stats similar to ec or ee, the overall average package is around 6 to 7 lakh per annum.

There are 2 major events in a year. 1st one is a cultural fest named maffic that is the largest central India fest and the second one is a technical fest named technosearch. Apart from these, there are various societies such as robaroo,aaroha,aenak .small events are organised by these societies.

It is a little expensive as tuition fee is near about 1.5 lakhs for family income above 6 lakhs but st sc students do not have to pay the tuition fee and obc students are charged only half of the tuition fee. Being one of the reputed nit it is a little costly.

Scholarships such as mmvy and other state governments, the scholarship can also be availed by private institution. I don't have much idea about loans but currently, I am benefitted by mmvy scholarship.

Apart from studies college have sports complex for the students interested in games, gym for gym freaks. there are many opportunities such as inter nit competition and many more. There are technical as well as cultural societies for those who are interested in dance, music, drama, and social work.

Seniors are very helpful whether in academics or in other fields, they try their best to deliver their knowledge and whatever is asked for. Manit alumni are in various leading MNCs and industries but still network between alumni and college is not strong enough.

Admission is based on the merit list of jee mains. One need to get marks according to the choice of branch. Counselling is conducted online for admission, generally, the cutoff rank for manit is 26000 for the general category.
