- The college possess a disciplined environment.
- Pretty decent campus area and a seperate ground for all the buildings.
- Every class has two mentors whom the students can contact for any queries.
Dislikes
- Feels like a school and students doesn't have much flexibility.
- There's only one canteen for a huge number of students and that too isn't very good.
- 75% attendance is really annoying. Either you have to maintain 75% attendance or you'll end up losing some of your internal scores.
Course Curriculum Overview
Since I am in BTech with Computer science with artificial intelligence and machine learning therefore we don't have the same problem as other like having a few decade old syllabus. It is a new branch so we don't have very old syllabus. With that being said I still believe that the first year syllabus feels unnecessary.
Fees and Financial Aid
I took admission in Lakshmi Narayan College of engineering and technology science in 2023 for BTech in computer science with AIML. The semester fee for BTech in Computer science with artificial intelligence and machine learning is around 60000 rupees which makes upto a total of 120000 rupees as yearly fees. Apart from the tution fee, there are some miscellaneous charges like exam fee, etc and it is around five to six thousand rupees. The students must have to pay for the bus as it is compulsory to use the college bus as medium of transportation. The bus fee for a whole year is around 16000 rupees and is independently of where you live in bhopal
Campus Life
The first year of the college feels no different than a school. It's just you your teachers and your academics. The clubs in college are not open for the first year students as they want you only to focus on your academics. Further there is limited interaction with seniors as they have a different time table.
Admission
The main reason why I choose this college is because of the discipline that is being maintained in the college. Further, the college is well known in the area for decent placement. Secondly one of my cousin recommended me of this college.
Faculty
The faculties are pretty decent in Lakshmi Narayan College of engineering and technology. The faculties are always on time but the main problem is that some of them are not that good at delivering that we need. Some of the have very limited knowledge about their own subjects and it feels really very boring in their class. Apart from that we've some good faculties too.
Night Life
The college does have a gym but you cannot expect a good amount of equipments. Each building have a library and the also have a central library so it's good in that area. The hostel life in the college Bounds you in a lot of constraints. The warden won't let you out of the college after 5 p.m. The hostel mess is pretty good and you can expect clean and good food. note that it is completely vegetarian.
