Likes

The teaching faculty of my department is outstanding.
Professor have mentorship quality the always motivate us for competitive exams
Infrastructure is good and here hostel facility is available.

Dislikes

College faculty is good but our department faculty is not so good .
Need to improve faculty for management in zoology department
Put chairs in parks for sitting purpose. Need to change the main gate .

Course Curriculum Overview

I take this course because I want to clear NET exam for my better future, and the course structure of this college is match with my preparation, theory classes are very helpful but practical class in my department is very poor . Course structure is very helpful for easily learning.

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 71600 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

At the time of registration ?1000 is registration fees and ?20900 fees which I paid for 1st semester for 2nd semester 14900 rupees paid and for 3rd semester ?20900 paid and for upcoming 4th semester I will have to pay ?14900.

Campus Life

In this university there are very less festivals celebrated , but in November 2024 I got opportunity to participate in a research paper writing competition and for this a huge award function is held on 22 October. There is also help sports competition every year . We celebrate the birth anniversary of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar every year .

Admission

I choose this university because this is a central university and I took addmission in this college with CUET entrance exam , this is government University and central university too so I prefer this university over other private universities.

Faculty

The teaching faculty is quite good but some permanent professor don't come to take lectures and send their scholar for taking classes. The management faculty of zoology department is also no good , they don't solve problems quickly. There is 3 exams in every semester that is 2 test and 1 end semester exam .

Night Life

There is a huge Central library in this university and fully AC, gym is also in this university and cafeteria is closed since may 2024 don't know why. Hostel timing for girls entry in night is 7:00 pm after 7pm no one is allowed to step out from hostel. Here roaming in night is not safe .

Course Curriculum Overview:

Yes tha curriculum are well structured and good for every exams because I have to go to civil field that's why I chose due to there interdisciplinary studies and connection to every exams and filed The curriculum is good and prepare for rural society and also provide further research opportunities for future in the rural technology and society The curriculum needs to be for technical and entrepreneurship based There is 3 hour exam for semester and the level of questions paper in exam is moderate to hard .

CSJMU can Be Better / Disappointed By placement cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Msc.Biotechnology is a good course. The laboratory aspect has pushed me a bit to make the decision. Curriculum makes us academically good but not good for real world. College laboratory needs improvement in terms of installation of proper laboratory equipments. Teaching skills & class control methods needs improvement. Teaching should be made more industry based and practical based. Exam pattern is good, not very easy to pass, have to work hard to get good marks.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This is a postgraduate course so I took admitted to this course because I want to become a lecturer (Professor). So after doing this I want to pursue a doctorate degree. Teacher student ratio in this course is 1:60 In this college, there are both permanent faculty and guest faculty. Permanent faculty has better teaching skills than the guest faculty because the majority of them are students who pursue doctorate degrees under the guidance of this college's Professors. They generally lack experience. The teaching method is excellent for permanent faculty. Exams are held timely. One is held in the month of December and the other in May. There are four semesters in this course. The paper level is difficult. One needs a descriptive knowledge of the subject to score good marks in examinations. Previous year papers can provide a lot of help.
