Course Curriculum Overview

The time table scheduled for btech students is very strict more for the specialization some subjects are not even worth for giving stress but its all about the credits then the frequency between the exams and lab practicals is less all things go really quick along with the wvents them provinding summer term and winter term training

Class Size: 62Course Fees: INR 318000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

For the specialization total fees is 12,72,000 admission and other fee is 4,500 the hostel fees is 1,06,800 for four years ... the fees is increasing per year 26,000+ students earned 50% scholarship to maintain it students have to maintain the cgpa of minimum 7.5 or above

Campus Life

Techinvents event announced by department of art and cultural affairs are really amazing and small events are held amost on daily basis which help refreshing minds of students many communities and workshops are there to gain experience

Admission

Admission process is nothing much complicated not so criterias are needed as compared too other colleges who make things complicated but still providing the same as other colleges scholarship test is mostly preferred by students

Faculty

Faculty student relationship is very professional even outside the academic block or the class some of them are lenient helping students providing some insights for the prep of exams aabout mid semester and end semester they held real quick two lab evaluations held between them and lab msts after each mst

Night Life

Each department has its own Library there is even a central Library providing e-books too gym is included in the hostel fee only hostel timings are co-ordinated according to the academic hours only each block has lots of cafeterias mamy spots to hang and chill out

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

From the second year itself students are eligible for campus placements and the companies right now visited are more than 80 + like Amazon Google Microsoft etc the highest package right now in our college 2.5 crore right now as a fresher more than 80% are getting placements which I can I can see and many used to start they own startups and get success in their field as help you teachers them and give them opportunity to learn and do startups and my plan after getting a degree is if you get a placement and huge packages and get a experience from them and to start my own business

My imperfectly perfect College life reviewed for everyone who needs it

Placement Experience:

Though when I got admission in this college, I saw the placement rates were very nice, around 95%, but maybe it was our session's fault. I passed out in 2024, and in that particular year, the placements were not as expected and as seen in the previous batch, so that was something very much disappointing because I paid so much money on a degree, only everything was good about the college, but in the end, placement matters during my session. Usually, the companies that hired for example, 10 students only hired two students.

I didn't apply to any other college. I chose it because it was close to my home. The admission process to give CUCAT exam for which the fees is 1000 rupees. The passing marks are 40 out of 100.
