Remarks

I got a single good friend & my degree as well. That is more than enough. As a government college it needs to have more involvement of government supervisors to improve the education system. I think these words will never make a difference to government, I hope it make a difference.

Course Curriculum Overview

2

I opted for the English honour's as I scored 93 in 12th class in English subject. The course consist of different forms of English that I would had never known if I was not a English honour's student. Exam structure was good as each year consist of two semester. And full course consist total of 6 semesters. Semester wise giving exam is quite good & simple as there is less syllabus.

Placement Experience

0.5

No my graduation college doesn't provide any internship but my master's college provided me with internship. I completed my master's degree in mass communication and journalism from international institute of mass media, Delhi. My institute provided me internship in a Hindi news channel in India voice news channel, Noida. I have completed my internship as a news writer.

College Events

1

Every event was celebrated with pomp & show. College fest was organised every year. All the dances, music, food stalls and every possible enjoyment was organised. One of the most important thing is that my college also organised college trips as well. That was the best part of my college life.

Fee Structure And Facilities

As a government college there was reasonable fee structure. My master's was from private institution and fee structure was way too high. I had to take admission in private institution as government college doesn't provide quality course of mass communication and journalism. And the fee was too way high while living in p.g as well.

Fees and Financial Aid

In government college there was a sport Kota scholarship. Students who take admission through sports Kota they have to perform good in sports to maintain their scholarship. And they have the liability to just score passing marks in exams.

Campus Life

0.5

Ya there were extracurricular activities but my course doesn't provide any extracurricular activities. But others have extracurricular activities. I can't say how good they were as I have never asked about those extracurricular activities.

Hostel Facilities

0.5

I hadn't opted for hostel. But the infrastructure was not very good as it was government college hostel. And we all know how government places are like. I think I don't have to explain at all. My friend's used to stay in hostel and they told me everything.

Alumni/Alumna

Not at all. No one was helpful and the biggest thing is that we even don't know them. There were no such function like alumni. My batch had managed studies & everything own their own. There were no books, thanks to google Baba.

Admission

Firstly I had fill the form online after that I had to stand in the long queue of form submission. And then in the long queue of fee submission. This is how I completed the admission process. When I submitted the form I had to wait for the merit list to come. I was so frightened as I had only filled the form of this College only. On the day of results my sister saw my name in merit list that was pasted on the entrance gate of the college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Specific Aspects That Influenced the Decision For students choosing a professional or certificate course, the curriculum usually becomes the deciding factor based on three key pillars: Job-Oriented Specific Skills: The primary influence is the curriculum's direct focus on market-based, job-ready skills (e.g., Python, Data Science, Digital Marketing tools). Unlike a traditional degree, the appeal is that every module must be immediately applicable to a job. Portfolio Development: Students are heavily influenced by modules that are project-based or require them to build a portfolio (like a website, a code repository, or a marketing plan). The curriculum must be designed to result in tangible work that can be shown to employers. Industry Certification Alignment: If the course prepares students for an external, recognized industry certificate (like CCNA, MCP, or Google/Meta certificates), the curriculum's strict adherence to that certification standard is a major influence. 2. Preparation for Real-World Applications The curriculum of a successful short-term course is designed to excel specifically in preparing students for real-world applications. Curriculum Improvements Mandatory Soft Skills Integration: While technical skills are a focus, the curriculum should mandate dedicated modules on non-technical, yet critical, job skills like: Professional Communication and Email Etiquette Team Collaboration and Project Management (Agile/Scrum basics) Interview Preparation and Mock Interviews Industry Feedback Loop: Establish a more frequent and formal system to update the curriculum based on current industry demands, possibly involving an advisory board of employers or recent alumni.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is highly relevant and comprehensive, according to me. The core courses that are mandatory for a student to take are highly relevant and necessary in order to develop the relevant skills and knowledge in that specific domain of the field. Electives on the other hand, are a student's choices and may or may not be relevant directly to the course one is studying. The university offers a wide range of electives and the electives are also taught by highly qualified professors across the 12 different schools of JGU. The end semester exams are either of 30 marks or 50 marks, depending on the course. Electives usually have a 30-mark end-of-semester exam for 1.5 hours. The exams are pretty easy and theoretical and contextual, unless the course one has chosen is strictly application-based and demands applications of theoretical frameworks. The core exams in the first and second year are divided across 50 and 30 mark exams and are often for 3 hours. The exams are pretty easy and theoretical except for the practicum courses, which are deeply application-based. The final year has very few core courses which are for 30 marks.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was influenced because I wanted to study more about how a person makes decisions, form perception and how a person's mind works . The curriculum prepares us for real world as we study about different aspects of psychology. The curriculum can be improved a little by adding a elective course in which we can get a little experience and arranging trips . The exams are not too difficult or too easy , just in perfect depth of the subject.
