Career in law: A well known law college in kerala.

Semester times are too short, exams and valuations are not liberal as of arts and science subjects. As a professional course it has more tight in valuation and mark system. The syllabus changed according to the change in law but even some cases moderations or alterations in curriculum and syllabus is needed.

Students can do their internships in government offices, NGOs, commissions, advocate office, judge chamber, courts, banks, local bodies, boards. Many students did internship at high courts and supreme court. Many students published articles on legal subjects and laws, case comments, judgements etc.

After completing 4 semester in law can apply placements provided by placement cell in college, which is accoeding to the best performance of students in their academic roles, internships amd other curriculum activities. The placement cell in college has visited Wipro, Infosys, USB etc. 60% of students get placement after completing course. Litigation is my career plan after this course.

It is well known law college of government under Kerala University having 150 years of successful journey produced many well known alumnus even Justice Fathima Bheevi the first women supreme court judge. It is established by government of kerala for providing better education in law at an affordable fee structure considering all stratum of society. The college provides unitary LLB having 60 seats with reservation to SC, ST, OBC, EWS students and Integrated LLB with BA English and Literature having a total of 120 seats.

Many programs conduct by college itself and clubs organized by students and teachers. Programs related to probation day, constitution day, literature fest of college, arts fest, sports meet, academic programs etc conducts. Classes on law career in litigation, corporate law, government exams also organises with coperartion from other institutions.

It is a well known law college having great history of education in law. Here the students are taken according to the ranks of entrance examination conducted by commissioner of examination Kerala. The students are admitted on merits according to the ranklist published by commissioner of examination Kerala.

Internals are there. But semester period is too short so exams may come next-to-next time which often creates students trouble. Faculties are supportive to encourage students in better creation of law career

The college has a great library of books in law, legal study, case laws, bare acts etc. Students and teachers can access Manupathra, SSC online. College has mens creation room and ladies room. Provides active units in NCC and NSS. Having clubs on theatre, dance, music, tourism, environment, language clubs, photography etc. The college support students in arts, sprots meet conducted by university.
