Course Curriculum Overview

5

My brother is in the same college and he advised me to join this college as I was not getting good colleges and the fees for the other colleges were a lot so I decided to come to this college and I have been curious to learn about engineering so that's why I joined this course. The curriculum is very good like functional english is also taught to students so that when they face interview they can be confident and be tension free because maximum students fall off in the interview round because of speaking skills and body language and confidence. Engineering is not a cup of tea ,So being consistent is only the key to success The exam is a little bit difficult for students who are below average but and the papers were previously set by the BPUT COUNCIL but not due to being autonomous college it follows the tradition of BPUT so that the students do not lose the competitive attitude

Internships Opportunities

4

Many internship opportunities are provided to the students from 2nd year like the companies provide stipend to the students and train them and many of the opportunities come around in the summer vacations.

Placement Experience

4

Placements as of I heard are good but due to recession iit students are also not getting job so this is a very small college and placements are decent . Companies like Deloitte ,Hp visit here and the percentage of students getting placement are approximately 70% and my plans after getting the degree are to works for some years in the company which I will get in placement and after saving the capital money I will think of starting a business.

Fees and Financial Aid

So my yearly fees is 250000 and my batchmates fees are also approximately same and many type of scholarship ews e kalyan etc . The fees is moderate according to the course as after completing course it provides basic package

Campus Life

4

There are many techfests like Hackathon and many more and students get a lot of opportunities to show their skills .The range and accessibility of getting books and journals in the library are great .The best thing in the college is the library,it is vast and the technologies in and provision in the classroom are very very good , like educomp and smart boards which help the students to learn by visualising.Sports is also encouraged in our college like for participating in different colleges events our college provides a good facility of transport and reimbursement for the winning team .There are many cultural activities which are supported like music , singing, dancing etc . There are many clubs such as eco club which takes care of the environment and our seniors frequently donate old clothes and food to the need and poor people.

Admission

I applied for VIT Vellore and many of my friends were also getting admitted to other colleges I got rejection from other colleges The admission process was simple they saw my jee mains result for first attempt and it was not so great but they asked some questions to me and maybe the saw some quality in me that's why selected me.There were no cutoffs so the overall experience is good.

Faculty

5

The faculty to students ratio is good there are approximately 5-10 teacher per subject among all sections which provides a good base for students . I like Subhadra Mam and English and Pc sir because there teaching technique is very good and I understand everything in their class and are very helpful also About the exams there are mid sems which is of 25marks and are taken after completing 2 modules and the next is Semester which consists of 100 marks .It's a little difficult to cover the syllabus in such a short span of time but if we are regular then we can do .

Night Life

4

Gym is decent in college .I cannot say that it's great but it is decent for station fit like basic equipments are available . Cafeteria is good like breakfast lunch are available and the cafeteria closes around 5 pm . Library timings from Monday to Saturday are from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. and Sunday is from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. There are two gardens where students can chill around and a huge playground for playing cricket, volleyball, football. The hostel for the first year students close from 8 a.m. to 1:30p.m. so that students do not bunk their classes and if any student is not feeling well then he/she has to get an application signed by the proctor then only they will be allowed to enter the hostel and the hostel remains open till 6:00 p.m. as the students go to gym inside the campus and play games and after that opens for the dinner around 8:30 and after that closes at 9:30 after dinner for the whole night .

Our college give good placement but packages are very low package start with 150000 and end in 700000 . But you study properly then you try pursuing higher studies. 40% students placed but below 400000 . after completing you try off campus placement then you secured good salary on good company.

Placement Experience:

the placement is also not that much great. they are very few companies TCS and Infosys are the mass recuriter here . The core companies are close to null . So you have to go to only to the IT companies that to at a very low package . My students work for as low as 2.5 lac per annum . This year almost everybody was between 3lac to 10lac bracket . The highest on campus package are about 25 lac . Not more than that most of time. and the average package is almost about 3-4 lac per annum . The percentage of the students placed is also really bad . Most of the students have to hurdle by himself.
