MY CAMPUS

I studied computer applications in my 12 th class, and I heard that B.com is a better course for getting job in banks and all. So I choose it. The curriculum prepares us in a better way. It also teaches us more than about the course too . According to my opinion the teaching methods is very nice. And the course curriculum should bring more extra interesting activities. The exams are coming in its correct time. Teachers are very active to complete there subjects at correct time. 4 months something is one sem. The next sem comes after that. It's not much difficult for students.

In my college placement are available when we come to 5 th semester. All students are waiting for that wonderful moment. Placements from Federal Bank and SBI banks are available. Students should have 60 percentage of mark. I'm a commerce student, so I also prefer accounting jobs. So many companies are offering placements and jobs. We also need good language to talk interviews. SBI offers the best of them for us to get a better job.

From 5 th semester onwards placements get started . And the students should have more than 60 percentage of mark for the interviews and all. SBI bank and federal Bank placements are there. 60 percentage of mark is must. After B.Com, I'm going to study MBA and wanna settle with a good bank job or accounting job in outer countries.

I have E-Grance Scholarship for my studies.So I don't have to pay full amount of exam fees which is 840.I should only have to pay 160.The first amount I paid for my course was 12500, and that includes my admission fees, registration fees, etc.Those who got seat in merit should also pay the same amount. SC,ST also have less fees. Those who didn't get seat in merit should pay more amount for there seat.And I'm an Aided student, so I don't have any extra fees more than that.

In overall, the campus is giving us a good atmosphere. It's an environment friendly campus. Teachers are well supportive for the students. The celebration held at college are conducted by Union members of the college.In every month there is no program. The accessibility of books and journals are there. The libraries are well maintained with so many books for better reference. Students also have every service there in campus such as water, canteen, etc. Computer, chemistry, zoology labs are available. They all are well maintained. Sports and extracurricular activities are also there. My College is famous for basketball. We have better basketball team. And there are also so many inner and outer college competition held by University and students gets prizes for there better performance. The college also has NATIONAL SERVICE SCHEME and NCC too. They help students to grow better in this world. It teaches them how to live in a better way. And they provides marks for them.

The hostel facility is average. Food is available in all timings. The room is small. In one room there are 4 students. In my room, we have 4 bed and one table and one chair. Toilet is attached. In room, we can't sit calmly and study. Food quality is not good. So we all eat from college canteen. The hostel fees is 7000 each month. There is a security payment for the admission. It's 1000 ruppees. And we should also give aadhar card copy for the registration. We get both veg and non-veg foods. The room is near my college. The place name is Mannanam itself. According to my opinion, the place is not that much hygienic.

I applied in Marian college, Kuttikkanam. But my 89 percentage mark didn't allow me to study there. Then I applied in kuriackose Elias college, Mannanam and now I'm studying there. My friend opt me this college. He is also studying there. I got admission through Mahatma Gandhi University website. And I got admission through merit and got seat. My 89 percentage for them was a very good mark. The course fees was also not very high. Most students don't study for model exam, but they are well prepared for the semester exams. The students below 34 percentage are failed.

All faculties are very active. All are standing together for well growth of students. Teachers are very friendly towards the students, so the students can ask them anything freely and clear there doubts. In all departments, for all subjects, teachers are available. The best facilities are of B.Com Computer Application Aided. The teacher who is teaching Marketing is teaching in a best way with simple examples that students can grasp easily. The self departments faculties is not better. The Accounting teachers in Aided is also not much better because of there teaching methods. There are 6- sem exams and they are not much easy to clear. 30 percent of students only get failed. The course is actually very nice and not much hard to study. If we focus in an effective way, we can clear it easily.

After college times, i and my friends used to go to gym and then come back to hostel. The campus runs from 9.45am to 3.30pm. The food in hostel is not good. So I prefer canteen food at college canteen. The college canteen food is better than hostel. Inside college, there are environment friendly places to sit and talk. At night time, we can't walk around. It's restricted. We can sit inside the campus till 5.15pm. After that, we should leave. The butterfly garden in our college is a very attractive place to sit and talk with friends and make memories.
