The admission process is too simple You are given two choices either to get in by merit or give an entrance exam In merit, your percentage in 12th must be above 85% And for entrance you have to study the basics of class 12th

It was my passion to choose maths as my course The curriculum prepares us well enough for real world applications or further academic pursuits There are too many exams before the final term They are like class tests

Class Size: 22Course Fees: INR 9000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fees u will be paying is 9000 Your tuition fees would be around 7000-8000 and examination fees will be 1500-2000 There are several scholarships and financial aid for students You can also get admission on the basis of 12th

Campus Life

They conduct annual festivals at the college in the month of june They have a library about the size of a 2 storey house there is almost every book you need They also conduct sports activities like cricket, volleyball, chess etc

Faculty

The faculty are very down to earth and sober they respect their students and listen to our questions The Maths department is very leniant but the exams aren't There are too many exams before the final term

Night Life

They have a gym which has got almost every equipment you need The closing time for library and public are is around 4 pm Famous hangout place in the college is the botanical garden The locality is very safe for you to roam around at night

Overall a good University with below average placements.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placemnt after third year. total 8 companies from local Food and beverage companies and agriculture related companie came for campus placements. Most of the student didnt take offers from the companies because none of the companies were offering more than 15k to 18k per month I also didnt take the placement offer for the same reason and now i am thinking for further studies from somewhere that have good placements Out of 23 students who were eligible for placements only 3 accepted the offer.

GOVT M.A.M COLLEGE,JAMMU : A Success path to life

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose science-non medical subjects being MATHS, GEOGRAPHY, and GEOLOGY. Reasons are my interest and love for these subjects. Class students and teachers ratio is good: 40-1. Teachers' qualifications are also good: MSc, Ph.D., NET qualified. Our exams were semester-wise [once in six months]. it was easy to pass if you just study normal and attend classes.

A Good College Even though the college life seems like a fairy-tale to you, it is not.
