Likes

Good freedom over other private colleges. The boys to girls ratio is 1:6
Teachers are very much friendly. Easy to clear doubts supports us in every exams
The college is located in a very good place and good people

Dislikes

Lack of programmes in college such as arts sports etc
No good football grounds available and sports activities are minimal
Stipend issue: Other colleges are providing stipend for interns but it is not given in our college

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose the course based on my neet marks The circulum enables the students to treat patients accornding through various methods More practical sessions should be included in the first 4 years of the course Exam is yearly and supplimentary exams comes every 6 months difficulty level 8a moderate

Internships Opportunities

There is a compulsory internship for the course for 1 year in the hospital attached to the college there is no stipend for this internship. Internship is in each department for 1 month each such as general medicine, pediatrics, ENT, gynecology etc

Fees and Financial Aid

The college fee im paying is 199450 as tuition fees And 50,000 for the special fee per year total 5 years including internship it include fee for various activities inside college such as arts sports seminars etc. There is no stipend during internship period The fees is increasing for the next admissions at a range of 10k-15k

Campus Life

The main programme held in the college is graduation ceremony of the outgoing students. College day was conducted around 2 years back Library is well equipped with journals amd books including old Veda mantras etc Classroom is equipped with projectors and teachers usually ise ppt presentations for taking class Sports mainly include table tennis volleyball badminton etc in college premises A sports group ADWDAS is active and many other clubs are also going good

Admission

This college have a better ranking than other private ayurveda colleges in kerala. And is well known history makes the college more famous The admission procedures include appearing for neet You can enter through state allotment or national allotment

Faculty

The faculty members are very friendly. They supports well to pass our exams Exams are yearly Total 4 exams It includes theory and practicals 50% for each theory and practicals needed to pass the exam. Subjects based on bams syllabus by ccim

Night Life

As we are living in a flat nearby there are no timings Gyms are available nearby, cafeteria ate open till 12 am Near the college famous parassinikadavu temple Sanke park Vismaya amusement park any many more natural spots are here

Course Curriculum Overview:

Ayurveda is also very important part of medical field. It brings a lot of treatment aspects and life style betterment. There are practical significance of all the knowledge into life. Hospitals here is very much well equipped and doctors are skillful so it's very good platform for learning to treat the disease and at the same time learning for prevention of disease. Some of the portions should be re evaluate. They should not make shloka compulsory and eliminate some old theories which are not going to accept. Should combined with modern medicine and teach a hybrid model or Intregate course.

The course seems very intresting even though it gives some mental stress. In my opinion syllabus should be a little more oriented And exclude the importance of slogas since it is an unnecessary things to by heart

Complete Review of BAMS Course in Mannan Ayurveda college,Pandalam by a former student of 2019 batch

Course Curriculum Overview:

The latest course curriculum is good as they provide 20 MCQ in every 100 mark paper,so it had become much easy for students to pass the exam. The sloka is mandatory in exams which is a drawback that finds too much time consumption to students and the Sanskrit language is also very difficult. Each exams have 3hrs which is sufficient as only 80 marks questions need to be written reaming 20 marks are MCQ

I got admission in this college through entrance examination CEE conducted by Kerala government. After that merit list is prepared. To be eligible for this one should at least 50% in biology and 50% in all three, Physics, chemistry and biology together. And must have completed 17 years of age.
