Honest KNIT review ...

I would the curriculum 4 out of 5 , as the same old syllabus is going on many years and it need to be changed , teaching us (the students ) more about the practical use of what we study . Tests are conducted in the college monthly or as depanding on the completion of unit .

The placements are good for CSE , IT . but in all other branches the placements are not good . For the it the average package is 10LPA and for CSE it is a little more . almost all the students who sit for placements . Highest package from our college is 51 LPA . Top recruting companies are Adobe , TCS , Wipro, HCL Accenture .

The total fee for the IT branch is more than all other branches in college as it is self financed . for IT the total fee is 88850 including the hostel fee . It includes 5000 caution money . and examination money also. We can get UP scholarship , i also applied for it .

My experience in KNIT campus is very good , the seniors are very supportive , although we were not allowed to move in campus alone for one starting month , but later on we got a lot of help from them . there are also many clubs namely photography club , hobby club , coding club , cultural club . Many events are organised in the college time to time but our annual festival 'ANUBHUTI ' is amazing , i mean superb .

Hostel facilities are very good and affordable . even it is compulsary to take hostel in first year . In first year the hostel and mess both are very good the hostel provides 24 hour water , electricity and wifi facility . the mess food is also good i would say even better than home , but in later years the quality decreases a little . but it is edible . the rooms are two seater and three seater ...

Yes , I also applied for many other colleges , i was also getting a few of them but I choose KNIT , because it is a good college and provides a good environment for GATE prepration , and the coding culture here is also good . Here admission are done on the basis of JEE Mains rank through the UPTU councelling .

All the faculties are very good and supportive , although some of the teachers focus only on completing the syllabus , but many of them help the students preparing for higher studies . the college is autonomous and exam are conducred in college , the level of exam is moderate .

Night life is not that good as there are many lamp posts and lights which need repairing and are left as it is . which spoil the view , and also there are not many visiting sites , where we can sit alone with our partner . But there are cafeteria and many canteens where you can spent time . I don't know about the campus in timing but the hostel in tiing is 10: 30 .
