Likes
- I liked the campus so much, the campus is so long and in the lap of nature surrounding with nature's greenery and giving so serene vibes.
- Other than campus, the prof. are way too good and helpong in terms of academics conparing to other AKTU colleges as I've talked to many of friends studying in other colleges.
- There is no such strict criteria of 75 percent attendance but one should have appeared in class for at least 4-5 times before sitting in the end sem examinations, this is the utmost pros in my view... Porf and ass. Prof are way too understanding.
Dislikes
- I disliked the overall infrastructure of the college be it in academicd Or in extra curricular activites, College don't really have their own playground.
- As classes are not so regular and faculties stay on chill mode, one need to comolete the syllabus on their own sometimes to excrl in the exams and in other competitive exams.
- Sometimes student welfare department taked more time than usual in listenung to our daily life problems
Course Curriculum Overview
The Course curriculum is relevant and comprehensive it covers all the major core subjects and prof. teach them in as holistically as possible but there should be a little more time between semesters to complete in order to guve satisfactory time to students, course curriculum have been designed in such a way that students become ready to tackle the real world problems very well
Placement Experience
Therr are few service based companies coming to college every year where package ranges from 4 lakh to 16 lakh based on skillset of the candidate, major MNC's coming to college for mass recruitment are TCS, Infosys, Wipro and other Startups
Fees and Financial Aid
I'm a final year student at KNIT pursuing my B. Tech degree in Information technology, For which I have to pay about this given structure. Tuition fees- 55000 (only for Information Technology) all other branches student pay only 40000 as their tuition fees. Exam fees- 5000 And Hostel fee and extra charges fees- 23350 Which is a total of 83350 (for IT branch) and 68350 (for other branch) For fee waiver tuition fee will be deducted and for SC/ST, there will be a full concession in fee either through scholership Or from college itself considering their annual incomes must be less than 200000.
Campus Life
So the annual cultural festival name is ANUBHUTI(held in april) and sports festival is known as TVARAN(held in October) , there is a vast library wiyh having wide range kf career as well as self growth books, the technology are up to date getting used in the classtooms with fully ewuipped air conditioning, the sports and extra curricular acticities are there with mainly focusing more on Indore and court games becaude there is no personal playground for the students, There is a NGO named Koshish for education purpose of poor and downtrodden students has been running through some alumnus of KNIT with the help of current students.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels and their facilitues are above satisfaction as they charge average amount for such facilities which includes giving two switches in a room, a table, a chair, a fan, a bed and around upto 2000 Watt electricity one can use.
Admission
I opted for this college through the Jee Mains counselling for AKTU colleges, I got BIET before getting this college and I explored different asepcts like college placements, location, student to faculty ratio, technology enreachment and made this decision to tak admission here, admission in this college can be made through AKTU counselling based on your JEE mains result
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is not really balanced, there are many faculties which are not permanent and are teaching either as assistant or as masters and Phd. Interns. Other than that faculties are so helping and approachable in academics as the college is autonomous there is a separate exam pattern follows other than AKTU so exam is not that tough andcan be conquered with a definite approach and preparatuin, yes srudent do fail to clear the exam but the ratio of failing students are meagre in numbers. On a personal note, I like so many prof. For their hunble and helping nature as HK mishra Sir, Sujeet Agarwal Sir, Babu Ram Yadav Sir, Hanuman Maurya Sir and I don't like few prof. For their conservative way of teaching, taking theur name at my own risk LOL (Nilesh Chandra Sir, Alka Ma'am) and yeah, the course curriculum is relevant I would say.
