Course Curriculum Overview

Vlsi design course was recommended to me by my uncle.. my knowledge about this course is very simple its about chips and circuit designing. Course should more focus on the dsd and semiconductors subject rather than maths, physics from 2year

Class Size: 63Course Fees: INR 250000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees amount is ?2,50,000 which is fair amount for core course but they dont provide any books or record note etc. Everything we have to buy and we have to take printout on our own amount.. thats not a fair one as they receive 2.5lks but they dont provide any books and notes.. the teaching is not upto level, school teachers were better.. they should focus more on making students understand the concept rather than just finishing portions on time and name sake

Campus Life

Their are many clubs in our college it is more effective in both technical and fun aspects. I involved in a fun club which boosts my communication and knowledge in different trending topic in our society's

Admission

I applied to vit, srm and rec universitys i couldnt make as my marks were not upto to level as my physics exams in cbse board was way tough for us.. in my college i was selected through management after my exam results released

Faculty

90 percent staffs just their need is to complete portion on their given time so they rush the portions and syllabus too fast.. rather they should focus on making students understand the concepts and syllablus easily.. staffs moslty target the student if he sits on last row and by their appearance.. that is not a healthy sight.. rather they should focus on how they behave and they speak in class

Night Life

My college does not have a great night life and not advisable to opt hostel. Instead go far a good pg and have fun. Food in my hostel is also very bad. Better not to join this college and opt for any good university.

Detailed review of Sathyabama University

Placement Experience:

top tech companies will come to our campus for replacement some of them are Amazon, JP Morgan, TCS, cognizant according to our skill level, they will choose before applying for any company. And the average placement they offer is 7-10 LPA. You should pass some exams in our college, which is held by our placement cell, so those are pretty much annoying nearly 10 exams they will put just for applying for each company.

Good college

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculums are good (it depends on depts) and they are updated and new electives/ cbcs are added thus updating curriculum and there are subject with heavy lab which don't have end sem instead lab and only internal which is not what other colleges have. they also have open book test for subjcts like programming languge so students can focus on learning the language instaed of memorizing. however as we are batch of a new regulation we are not aware of kind of questions that would come. however forthcoming batches won't be having this issue. unlike other collges only 2 internal exams and 1 semester is conducted. both the internal is given equal weightage ( having unit 1&2 and 3&4 for each exams) and retest is also conducted for internal however even if one exam not written they need to write all 4 unit incase of health issues etc. 50% internal and 50% external. so if having good internal can easlity score well in total. However if one fails to secure internal then passing the subject becomes very hard. Core subjects however prepares well for real-world. however i feel curriculums should be slightly revised so that students learn everyhting systematically instead of memorizing. Good internships

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester, if you have required skill sets you can go for internships and placements. There are more than 600 companies that include Tata, Mahindra, Google, Deloitte and many more. Highest package was of 1.2 crores and average package is 8 -9 lakhs. I don't have the exact statistical data but yaa more than 70% students get placed. I am looking for a high pay job after getting the degree

MY COLLEYE LIFE

Placement Experience:

They start conducting interviews after completing the 6th semester. At least 6 companies come for the campus placement like tech Mahendra, TCS, and manufacturing companies like sakthi auto-complete, tata motors, etc. They placed a minimum of 150000 per aum. The percentage of students getting placements is 30%. Get a job in a reputed company.
