Course Curriculum Overview
I am doing specialization in neuro sciences in MPT. I chose this coz I have interest in neurological disorders especially that of adult & geriatrics population. I like to intereact and easing the pain just by kindness and makinh them smile. I love that.
Internships Opportunities
We do not have internship for our course. It is only in UG post final year. After PG we directly get placed. We are affiliated with nanavati hospital where we work for these 2 yrs and we do not have stipend for the same
Placement Experience
After the last i.e. the fourth semester the students get placed into the affiliated nearby hospitals which are renowned of course. All students get 100% placements if they opt for it. I have chosen that option and wish to get placed in mumbai itself
Fees and Financial Aid
3,60,000 plus 10k deposit per year for 2 years for college And 3,40,000 plus 10k deposit per year for 2 years for hostel I took a student loan for the same. There is no category wise concession here..
Campus Life
It is good. The ambience of the campus is quite esthetic. We get to meet so many celebrities coming up for promotions. Libraries are gigantic places to study here.. peaceful and clean. We get to go to sports league turfs which are affiliated with NMIMS/NANAVATI, we go there as sports physios. We also enjoy rallies and parades regarding heart days, cancer day and womens health awarenesss
Hostel Facilities
In my room at 4th floor, we are 2 girls. It is a huge hotel like spacious room with 2 beds. 4 cupboards. Dressing table with huge mirror. Attached balcony. Hostel registration is done on college student portal.
Admission
I chose this college as it provides placement guaranteed. Which any other medical colle doesnt not, others just make bonds. I had applied PGCET before applying here, which I didn't clear. We need to give entrance exam plus interview to get in this college. Selection is done and then u get notified.
Faculty
We are 55 students and teachers and staff are around 15 so that is fair enough. And we can seekntheir help wherever we need help regarding studies or patients. All the teachers are equally good at nature and teaching too
Night Life
We have a gym in our girls hostel as well. That is included in the hostel fees. MKM girls hostel, juhu. Rest all nearby gyms are quite expensive. Hostel in time is 11 pm. Juhu PVR is right 200 to 300 m from here. A little ahead and there's a very nice momo stall. Besides that is a restro bar NINE. It is quite safe as it is residential area and hostel has a lot of security guards on duty
