Course Curriculum Overview

5

I don't think I really need to say something about the relevance of mbbs as course. You become a doctor after completing your cumbersome 5 year that itself is very relevant. You come so many different types and flavours of people during this time. You just need to enjoy the process

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure General category - 27600(tution fees) + 2400 (electricity bill) Obc and other category - 18600 +2400 There is up scholarship available for all categories students Students can fill form online all the fees is reversed and plus some additional amount is also given

Campus Life

5

The college is campus is great and very clean campus . It has cricket ground, football ground, basket court ,badminton court and indoors are also available. There is a college fest every year named blaze in which there are so many sports, cultural events,dj night and all other fun are available. It is one of best times during college time.Whole college is lit up during these days. Very enjoyable must say

Admission

The medical college are appointed based on the counselling process after you qualify neet exam. It is a highly competitive exam. I chose this college over other college for so many reasons. First of all under my rank range it was best college in up that I could have got. Secondly I heard about the college that it has great patient load so it will be nicer to come here and learn. It was also close to my hometown.

Faculty

4

Faculty members are just like any other faculty members of medical college. Some very great and enthusiastic teacher. They are always ready to teach to you, always want that whenever you come in class or clinical posting you always get something out of it

Night Life

4

Since Gorakhpur is a fairly develped city. Night life is quite good here. There is so many cafeterias around the college. There major pizza centres like dominos and lapinoz etc around 2 -3 km range. There is inbuilt library in the college open 24 hrs. There are many gyms around the colleges. You can literally walk to those gyms.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course is overrated no doubt but at the end it all worth it when you treat the patient. Currently NMC guidelines are clinically directed but the way college fulfills it are not up to the guidelines. After doing MBBS in this college you are not that much confident to prescribe any medication independently. Education here is more theoretical than practical. College can improve it by giving more practical knowledge on real patients. Due to lots of junior residents, MBBS students get less chance to perform any clinical activities.

The curriculum is although good but should focus more on practical than theory as the course targets on field work . There should be more practical based teaching for easy learning and the ratio of practical exam should increase

Course Curriculum Overview:

My curriculum is a study of real life where you're handling a whole life in your hands . You have to deal with them beside your ego and emotion. It prepares us for the real world . However, I think ENT and Optha should move back to 3rd year to reduce the load of 4th year. The frequency of examination are once in 2.5 months but you get only a month or 20 days gap between your PU and proffs. Proffs are do or die ,which I find most difficult.

Personally speaking , this course is very time taking and difficult if u do not keep calm. There are moments when i feel like quiting the course as the course is longer than other usual graduation courses, also it takes a lot of hard work to learn the skills and gain the knowledge.
